This is a good chance to use that one headcanon of Rantaro sleeping late, because I feel like with all the waking up early and staying awake for long periods of time, he would be generally be pretty tired in the mornings when he's not on one

It was 8am. Shuichi Saihara was beginning to wake up, while Rantaro Amami was still fast asleep. He just had returned from an expedition the night before and arrived home at 1am.
Shuichi had stayed up until his boyfriend came home finally, and it wasn't long after until they had both fallen asleep.
When Rantaro's on his adventures, it's only natural that he wake up very early and go to sleep very late, and when on his adventures he does so with ease. When he's home however, it's quite the opposite. Usually to make up for lost sleep, otherwise just for the hell of it, he sleeps late. Very late.
Shuichi on the other hand, naturally wakes up early, usually around 7am. He dosen't have many problems in the mornings, it's usually falling asleep that's a problem. And with the tiredness due to waiting for Rantaro, 8am was almost considered late for him.
Shuichi yawned and checked the time. He stretched his arms a little and got out of bed. Then he looked down at Rantaro, still out cold.
I'll let him be for now...he's probably pretty sleep deprived
Shuichi went to the bathroom and did normal bathroom stuff like brushing your teeth, (omg it's 11:11 as I'm writing lmao) because it's late and I can't think of anything other than that.
He got dressed and made a small breakfast for himself, like he normally would do.
Two hours pass. It's about 10 now. Rantaro's still deep in sleep, and Shuichi considers waking him up. He decides against it, because even he understands that feeling.
It got concerning when noon hit.
Shuichi decided to wake him up at this point, he's been out for a while now.
"Rantaro?" He peeked in the room.
Rantaro looked like he was beginning to wake up, yet still asleep. At least he wasn't in a deep sleep any longer.
"Taro...Do you want to get up now?" Shuichi asked gently.
"Mm...no, no not yet..." Said the sleepy Rantaro, not having the energy to open his eyes.
"It's-...It's almost noon, are you sure you don't want to get up? We did plan on seeing everyone else later today, they've been missing you, too."
"Whose gonna be there again?"
"Well, Kaede and Kaito really missed you, Angie, Himiko, Gonta, even Ryoma and Tenko. Oh and, especially Kokichi."
"Agh...of course. Could I have ten more minutes?"
"Of course, but only 10 minutes. It's getting pretty late."
"Deal."
It was more than 10 minutes as expected. 15 in fact. At this point, Shuichi had to get him up and out of the goddamn bed, even if he had to force him.
"Rantaro, it's time."
"Please? Five more minutes?"
Rantaro wasn't usually childish like this, but he's tired (although it is a bit amusing). His brain isn't doing the regular Rantaro brain stuff.
"I can't negotiate anymore, Taro. Last time you said 10 minutes, it's been 15 now."
"Damn..." He yawned.
"There's now way around it anymore, you're getting up now."
"Or what?" Rantaro said teasingly, all though only half aware of anything going on around him.
Big mistake.
"Cant say I didn't warn you..."
Now Rantaro expected him to pull off the covers, or shake him, or even pinch his nose or something like that. The sudden feeling of 10 fingers on his sides caught him completely off guard.
"WAH-Hahaha! Nohohohoho!"
"I told you, Taro."
Rantaro grabbed at his wrists, twisting and turning in the process. While this would be the point when Rantaro would completely turn the tables, he's Tired Taro right now and doesn't have the strong muscles.
"Shuichihihihi! Stahahahp!" Rantaro whined through his giggling as Shuichi moved his fingers up to Rantaro's ribs.
"I told you, only if you get up." Shuichi said, almost teasingly.
"Buhuhut I'm tihihirehed!"
"I know Taro, but we have plans. You won't be tired once you get up." Literally only Shuichi Saihara could be so sweet while wrecking the shit out of someone.
Rantaro squeaked once Shuichi got close to his underarms. He stopped for a moment.
"Sh-Shuichi..."
"Are you gonna get up?" He said almost threateningly. Who knew the usually introverted detective could be so assertive?
"..."
"I'm warning you."
"..."
This is...kind of childish... Rantaro thought. Maybe he should just give in at this point?
One second too late.
"WAH-NOHOHOHOHO!" He squealed. It wasn't a surprise to Shu that his underarms were one of his most sensitive spots. This was something he knew very well and knew for a while now.
"Gonna get up now?"
"YEHEHEHES! YEHEHES, JUST STOHOHOP!"
And he stopped.
"Aghh..." Rantaro rolled over, clutching his sides and his face slightly pink. Yet, he definitely was feeling more awake now.
"Come on, out of the bed. Or I'll tickle you again."
"Okay, okay! I'm up now, see? I'm awake!" He panicked, scrambling out of the bed.
Shuichi chuckled.
"Hehe...about time..." And then he reverted back to the Shy Shu we all know and love.
"That was a little mean, don't you think?" Rantaro smirked, his hair still a little messy.
"Well-I...I did warn you!"
"Eh, true, but wouldn't it only be fair if we're even?"
It took the poor guy a second.
"...Shit."
Cue Taro, full of energy thanks to his wake up call, hunting down and mercilessly destroying Shuichi as per revenge.

When Ouma saw Amami and Saihara sitting together on the couch that afternoon, both with a book in hand and completely at peace, he figured it was the perfect time to be a complete nuisance.
He snuck up behind the ultimate adventurer with feather light feet until his lips were right next to his ear.
"Nice porn you got there, Amami-chan," He half-yelled, expecting to take him by surprise. Amami barely flinched.
"Oh, hey Kichi," he said in a distant voice without even looking at him.
Hmph. He was no fun.
He tried his luck with the bored-looking detective to his right. He poked his head over and over again, knowing how much he hated to be interrupted while he was reading.
"Ewww, Saihara's reading tentacle smut," he said a little louder than what was appropriate.
He, too, ignored the supreme leader.
Sulking, Ouma flopped onto the floor dramatically. He crossed his arms and stuck out his lower lip, making himself look even younger than he already did. Getting ignored was so boring.
"Do you want something from us?" Amami finally asked, lowering his book for a moment so he could fix his gaze on his pouting friend.
"Your hand in marriage, your undivided attention for all eternity, and twelve trillion dollars. So, not much!" In a moment, Ouma was suddenly cuddled up in between both of them with his tiny arms stretched across both of their shoulders.
Simultaneously, they put their books on the table and gave him a look that made his stomach drop to the floor.
Those eyes... he knew what was coming next. He jumped up to run, but suddenly his arms were pinned to the couch cushions and he was barely able to move.
"Alright," Saihara said with a smirk. "You want attention, you got it."
Ouma squirmed in place.
"What should we pay attention to, Saihara?"
"Hmm... maybe how red his cheeks and ears are getting?"
Ouma tried to hide his face in his shoulder, but a sudden flurry of fingers on the side of his neck made him jerk his head to the other side. He let out a high pitched squealed, then burst into giggles as two hands tickled all over his ears.
"Aaaaahaha! DON'T!!"
"Wait, he's wearing a tank top. We should pay attention to that, too."
He felt Amami dig his fingers under his left arm and almost screamed. He knew it was one of his worst spots; he always did this when he was trapped. He twisted his body as best as he could, but with both of them holding him down it would be impossible to get away.
"Nononononooo! Not thehehere!"
"He's so squirmy today. And he's laughing like a little kid."
"Stop talking about it! Ahahaha -AHAHA!"
The tickles were light and gentle, but they still drove him crazy. Having two people poke around his sides, neck, and underarms was almost too much. The longer it went on, and the more they teased, the louder his laughs became.
It wasn't long before he came to regret messing with them.

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?
Okay this one’s actually really tough but I think Kyoko would have a cuter laugh. I think she’d try to hide the fact she’s laughing by burying her face behind her hair and hands but once she gets laughing oh boy it’s so adorable!
2. Who is ticklish in weird places and where would it be?
Kyoko again! I headcannon that she’s really sensitive to soft tickles on the backs of her shoulders and shoulder blades
3. Who gets cheer up tickles?
Both of them! Quite often as well. Makoto would cheer up really quickly while it would take Kyoko a bit longer but they always work.
4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck while taking off their T-shirt?
If Makoto got stuck Kyoko would definitely take advantage! Makoko would probably flail around quite a bit which would only cause him to get even more tangled.
5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?
Kyoko caught light of it from Sayaka or Aoi and thought to test it out for herself. Needless to say the theories were true. Of course it was only a matter of time before Makoto decided he wanted revenge so he waited for her in his dorm and tackled her from behind the door. It wasn’t very graceful but it was funny to Makoto.
6. Who can’t take tickle bites?
I think Kyoko would often give Makoto tickle bites and he’d absolutely crumble. His laugh would definitely go really high pitched.
7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?
Makoto again! Kyoko’s usually awake very early so if she gets lonely while Makoto’s still snoring away she’ll tickle him awake. Or if he just won’t get up she’d really let him have it!
8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?
Probably Makoto again to be honest. I think Kyoko would be able to turn the situation in her favour most of the time so she’d almost always have an advantage!
9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when tickling the other?
I think Makoto would definitely flail about and kick a lot, so Kyoko might end up with a couple of knocks. She’s not completely innocent either though! One wrong move and she might accidentally kick Makoto in the leg.
10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?
Obviously Makoto would sometimes mess around just to get her to wreck him by poking her or tapping her phone screen while she’s trying to type, yknow the usual “I’m being a little shit what are you gonna do about it?” sorta stuff, but honestly?? I think Kyoko would too! But I feel like it would be so unimaginably subtle that Makoto doesn’t even realise that’s what she’s trying to do. Or so she thinks. Makoto is completely aware of what she’s doing but he keeps the game going for her sake cause he thinks it’s just really cute.

Honestly this one is so hard I genuinely don’t think I can pick??? Kokichi’s would be loud, with lots of begging and squealing whereas Shuichi’s would be a lot softer, still with a lot of begging and the occasional squeak, but then once you hit his death spot or if you catch him by surprise he can turn into a bubbly mess!
2. Who is ticklish in weird places and what would it be?
I don’t think these are considered ‘weird’ but I think they can still count! Kokichi’s absolute death spot would be under his scarf. Like, his neck is insanely ticklish. As for Shuichi, his palms are unbearable. He’d crumble pretty quickly if you so much as touched them.
3. Who get’s cheer-up tickles?
Shuichi! Whenever Kokichi notices him feeling even a little down he doesn’t even hesitate! There’d definitely be a lot of teasing too
4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck taking off their T-shirt?
Kokichi, absolutely. Again, he just wouldn’t hesitate. He’d probably back Shuichi into a corner and just completely wreck him. Shuichi would be too weak to do anything but sit, take it and beg. Kokichi would have to help him out of the T-shirt at the end and he’d throw himself into Shuichi’s lap and give him a big hug.
5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?
Honestly??? Kokichi just one day decided to tickle him. Literally for no reason at all, other than to see if Shuichi was ticklish. It was completely by surprise, so poor Shuichi gave in immediately. As for Kokichi, well he was being a little shit so Shuichi tried pushing him away but saw him flinch when he touched his belly so he poked it a few times with the whole “Huuuh? Are you ticklish Kokichi?”. This completely flustered Kokichi who tried to run away but got pulled into a tickly hug.
6. Who can’t take tickle bites?
Kokichi!! His absolute worst spot is his neck so Shuichi would take every opportunity to give him a few nibbles around there which would drive him crazy!!
7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?
Kokichi again. He’s the kinda guy to not want to get up until like noon, so Shuichi has to take action. He gives him plenty of warnings, which makes Shuichi think he’s just asking for it sometimes. But sometimes on weekends and holidays, Kokichi will get up super early just to get revenge!
8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?
Shuichi! Kokichi would either be super stubborn all round or would do a fake-give-up thing then turn the whole thing around on the detective! Shuichi would give up pretty quickly, but Kokichi would still make sure to push him right to his limit. Shuichi is also very vulnerable to teasing, which makes it so much worse.
9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when tickling the other?
Definitely Shuichi. Kokichi would thrash around like a maniac when being tickled and Shuichi has definitely left a few tickle fights with a bruise or two, non-intentional of course. On the other hand Shuichi becomes a weak mess when he’s tickled, effectively rendered so helpless he can’t even kick.
10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?
Kokichi 1000% and he will use ANY means necessary. From just playfully poking Shuichi to throwing his stuff on the floor to embarrassing him a little at school to giving his dorm a complete redesign. Shuichi is super patient so it might take a while but when he loses his cool boy he LOSES IT and will absolutely wreck Kokichi.

3. Do they react differently to different people tickling them?
He does! Lemme just:
Ler!Maki: Kaito just lets himself give into it when it’s just the two of them, because he doesn’t see a need to hold back around her. Very very flustered like 90% of the time and is overall just v soft for her tickles 🥺
Ler!Shuichi: Oh he puts up a good fight with his side kick, he’s gonna show he’s not easy to take down! Holds back his laughter as long as he can, which worked the first few times Shuichi tried to tickle him. But the emo managed to find a weak spot immediately one of the time he was wrecking Kaito and everything went down hill from there.
Ler! Kokichi: Kaito was honestly freaked the fuck out Kokichi wrecked him when it was not for brutal and hate filled revenge. Ends up letting loose immediately but only because he’s shocked as hell, also pretty flustered with the gremlin being the ler. Very prone to stammering out insults and weak threats, but they always fly over Kokichi’s head.
