This is a tickle fic. If you're not into this stuff pls scroll... <3
For weeks, the Stray Kids dorm had a shadow over it. Jeongin, the beloved maknae, was fading away. He stopped joking, he stopped eating his favorite snacks, and he spent every free minute staring at his phone with a pained expression.
He had seen terrible things online. People calling him a "burden," saying he had "no talent," and that the group would be "better without him." Jeongin foolishly believed them. He felt like he was taking up space that someone better deserved. He was too scared to tell his Hyungs because he didn't want to be more of a burden.
But Bang Chan saw everything. He accidentally found Jeongin’s notebook where the boy had written down the hateful comments, trying to process the pain. Chan didn't wait. He showed the notebook to the other six members.
"He thinks he's a burden," Chan whispered, his voice shaking with protectiveness. "He thinks we don't care. We need to break this sadness right now. We need to show him he belongs here."
Minho nodded, his eyes sharp. "Talk won't work on him. We know that. He’s stuck in his head. We need a reset. We need to make him laugh until he can't remember those words."
Jeongin was sitting on the living room sofa, staring at a blank wall, eyes teary. Suddenly, the door opened and all seven of his Hyungs walked in. They didn't look angry; they looked determined.
"Jeongin-ah," Chan said, sitting next to him. "We know why you're sad. We know about the hate."
Jeongin froze. He felt ashamed. Tears started falling out of his eyes. "Hyung, I'm sorry. I'll work harder. I'll stay out of the way—"
"Noo, Stop," Changbin said, stepping forward. "You aren't a burden. You are our cute baby brother. And since you won't believe our words, we're going to use a different language."
Jeongin saw the mischievous glints in their eyes. He knew that look. "Wait... no... Hyungs, please! I'm fine! Don't!"
"Get him!" Seungmin yelled.
The room exploded into chaos. Every member had a specific job to make sure Jeongin couldn't escape the love—and the tickles.
Chan and Changbin grabbed Jeongin’s shoulders and waist, poking his sides and squeezing his thighs, every now and then. They were the strongest, and they gently pinned him down against the soft cushions. Jeongin was trapped. He was lying on his back, looking up at six laughing attackers.
Hyunjin moved first. He reached for Jeongin’s sides and ribs. He didn't use pokes; he used a wide, fast, chaotic scribbling motion with all ten fingers. "WAAAAAH! NOHOHOHOHAHAHAHA! HYUNJIN! STOP! HYUNGAAAHAHAHAHA!" Jeongin shrieked, his body jolting. His first real laugh in weeks broke through the silence of the dorm.
Han targeted the tummy. He used light, swirling motions around Jeongin’s belly button. It was a soft, maddening touch. "GAAAAH! NOHO-NOHO! PLEAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I CAN'T BREATHE! I'M SAHAHAARYYY! STOHOHOHOHP!" Jeongin was thrashing his legs, but he was held too firmly.
Seungmin went for the upper ribs. He used the "counting" method, digging his fingers into each individual crevice. "ONE! TWO! THREE!" Seungmin teased. "NOHOHOHO! SEUNGMIN! NOHOHOHOO MOHOREEE! I'M S-S-TALENTED! I PROMISE! STOP THAHAHAHAAA-!" Jeongin wailed, his face turning bright red.
Felix sat at the end of the sofa and pulled off Jeongin’s socks. He used his long, sharp fingernails to trace lines up and down Jeongin’s soles. "THE FEET! WAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU GUYSS AHAHAHRE SOHOHO EVIHIHHIL! NOHOHOHO! LET GOHOHOHOHO!" Jeongin’s scream-laughs were high-pitched and continuous. He was shaking from head to toe.
Finally, Minho moved in for the finishing blow. He lifted Jeongin’s arms and targeted the armpits with a slow, heavy, deep digging motion. "This is for believing fake-stay strangers on the internet over your Hyungs," Lee Know whispered playfully. "WAAAAAH! MINHO HYUNG! I SURRENDER! I'M NOT A BURDEN! I'M NOT! JUST STO-HO-HO-OP! HAHAHAHAHAAAA! PLEAHAHAHAHA! IT TICKLES TOO MUHAHAHAHA- *silent laughter*"
The attack lasted for seven long minutes. The members swapped spots, ensuring every sensitive inch of Jeongin's body was targeted. The room was filled with the loudest, most hysterical laughter Jeongin had ever produced.
The tickles had slowed down now. But Jeongin being a ticklish maknae, couldn't stop laughing.
"OKAYYY OKAAAHAHAHAH! I CAN'T ANYMAHAHAHAHAAA-!"
"You won't ever doubt yourself again?" Han asked.
"I WON'T! I WON'T DOHOHOHO IT NOHOHOHO MOHOOHORE!"
"You won't hide anything from us?" Said Seungmin, scribbling his ribs.
"NEHEEEVER AGAINHAHAHAHAA! I PROHOHOHOHOMISE!"
"Say it!" Changbin commanded, laughing along with the others. "Say: I am the best maknae!"
"I'M THE BEHEHEHEHEST MAHAKNAE! I'M NOT A BUHURDEN! NOHOHO! PLEHEHEASE! I CAHAHAHAN'T!"
Finally, Chan signaled everyone to stop. All the hands pulled away at once.
Jeongin lay on the sofa, a complete wreck. His hair was messy, his clothes were wrinkled, and his face was soaked with tears of laughter.
But the sadness was gone. The toxic thoughts had been scrubbed away by the chaos.
The members didn't leave. They all piled onto the sofa, creating a massive, warm group hug.
"Don't ever read those comments again," Chan said, kissing the top of Jeongin's head. "If you do, we're doing twenty minutes next time."
Jeongin sniffled, hugging Chan back tightly. "I'm sorry, Hyungs. I love you."
"We love you more," the members said together. Jeongin finally felt at home again.
The concert had ended hours ago, but the adrenaline still buzzed through Seungmin like electricity that refused to ground itself. He was riding the wave higher than anyone else. His cheeks hurt from grinning, his voice was hoarse from laughing too loud at his own jokes, and he just couldn’t stop.
Chan had warned him earlier to tone down the ego, but he was smiling nonetheless. Seeing Seungmin confident for once was enough to make up for the torment.
Seungmin had just laughed, that bright, loud, triumphant laugh, spinning in place like an overexcited puppy who’d discovered the treat jar was bottomless. “What? I’m just stating facts! I carried the whole stage today. Admit it. Admit ittttt~”
He knew he absolutely killed that performance.
Immediately, he teased Minho when they piled into the van, voice bright and syrupy with mock innocence. “I had to carry us in that beginning, honestly. My vocals were flawless. Yours were…serviceable. At best.”
Minho shot him a flat look, one eyebrow arched. “Keep talking, puppy.”
Seungmin only beamed wider, golden-retriever energy dialed up to eleven. He leaned over the seat, poking Chan in the shoulder. "Aren't I the best rapper in the group, hyung? Watch out, Changbin hyung. I'm coming for your job."
Changbin rubbed his temple, already exhausted. “Seungmin-ah…”
By the time they reached the dorm, the others had exchanged enough pointed glances to form a plan. Seungmin was still floating on his sugar-rush cloud, kicking off his shoes with a flourish and announcing, “I’m gonna go take a victory shower. Try not to miss me too much, losers~”
He barely made it two steps down the hallway before strong hands grabbed him from behind.
“Wha—hey!”
Chan’s voice was calm but firm, the leader tone activated. “Nope. Not tonight, puppy.”
Seungmin yelped as he was lifted clean off his feet—Changbin and Hyunjin doing the heavy lifting while Minho and Felix herded him toward the living room like a misbehaving puppy being dragged to timeout. He squirmed, whining breathlessly, still riding the high. “Yah! Put me down! This is kidnapping! I’ll sue you for endangerment!!”
"No can do, Seungmo," Felix chuckles. "Brat tax is due."
They dumped him onto the wide sectional couch in a tangle of limbs. Before he could scramble up, the others piled on. Chan pinned his shoulders.
Changbin locked down his waist and one leg. Hyunjin caught his other leg and an arm. Felix and Jeongin each took a wrist, spreading his arms wide above his head. Minho straddled his thighs with that dangerous cat-like smirk, knees pressing just enough to keep him immobile.
Seungmin’s eyes went wide, the laughter dying in his throat as he realized just how thoroughly trapped he was. The couch creaked under their combined weight. He tugged experimentally—nothing. Not even an inch. His heart started hammering for an entirely different reason now.
Oh god. Ohgodohgodohgod.
Seungmin tried his hardest not to blush. It's been a quick second since he was wrecked thoroughly, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't miss it.
Fingers hovered. Ten. Twenty. More. Wiggling menacingly just above his tummy, his ribs, his sides, his hips. The air itself seemed to vibrate with impending doom. God, he was so fucking screwed. There was no way he'd make it out of this alive.
Seungmin’s golden retriever confidence evaporated in a single heartbeat. His body tensed like a live wire, already twitching in anticipation before anything even touched him. He whined, breathless, trying to squeeze his eyes shut but somehow still stare through a slit in his eyelids.
Minho’s voice was low, dangerous, and way too amused. “You’ve been a brat all night, puppy. Time for some humbling.”
And then they struck.
Fingers dug in everywhere at once.
Seungmin’s reaction was instantaneous and nuclear.
“GUYS!!” He squealed, the word ripping out of him in a high-pitched wail as seven sets of fingers scribbled and poked and spidered across his stomach. “GUHUHUHUHUHUYS!!”
His body jackknifed violently under the weight pinning him, but he couldn’t move an inch. Jeongin, the maknae who had clearly been taking notes from his hyungs, zeroed in on the belly button itself.
One finger dipped in, swirling slow and deep, while the other three danced around the rim in feather-light scratches that made Seungmin’s entire torso jolt like he’d been shocked.
The fact that they'd gone for a death spot right at the beginning sent all the thoughts of freedom scattering from Seungmin's mind in an instant.
"Plehehehehease!! FUCK IHIHIM SOHOHOHORRYYYYY!!"
"Are you realllyyy sorry?"
"YEHEHEHES!! IHILL STAY QUIHIET!! Fohohor a WEHEHEHEHEEK! A MONTH!! FOREHEHEVER!!"
Hyunjin laughed brightly, squeezing his thighs just above the knees for good measure. “Forever? We both know that’s a lie, Minnie-yah. You can’t stay quiet for five minutes.”
The thigh squeezes added a whole new layer of chaos—Seungmin’s legs jerked violently, but he couldn’t dislodge the two who had him trapped.
"Gosh, you're so dramatic, Minnie~" Minho teased, watching the poor boy flop around helplessly beneath him. He hummed as he slid his hands over to the sides, happily clawing over them with no remorse, then scratching as if he wasn't clinically taking Seungmin apart bit by bit. "Ohhhhh, someone's got ticklish sides~"
"STOHOHOHOP TEHEHEHEASING YOU BAHAHASTARD!!" Seungmin howled. He was flushed down to his neck at the stupid teases. He hated how much they got to him.
Minho laughs. "Don't lie, puppy, you love my teases~"
The others were cooing. God, how embarrassing. Seungmin knew his face was practically merlot at this point. His stomach was doing flip-flops, and he was trying so hard not to melt into the floor.
Seungmin's laughter had calmed down up until Jisung decided to go for the kill while seated on his thighs. "Oooooh, how about here?" He brings both thumbs up to the hips and digs in with no preamble.
Seungmin shrieked. "NOHOHOHOH NOT THEHEHEHEHERE!!"
"Oh, someone didn't like that one, did you Minnie?" Jisung laughed, pressing deeper, coaxing more and more frantic giggles from the poor boy.
Then they all switched tactics simulataneously.
Seungmin was completely losing his mind.
His body flopped and twisted violently on the wide green room couch like a fish yanked out of water, hips bucking, back arching, legs kicking in futile little spasms under the crushing weight of Hyunjin and Felix pinning his thighs down.
Every inch of his torso was under siege by what felt like seventy merciless nails, ten pairs of wicked, wiggling fingers that refused to give him even a single second of mercy.
Minho’s sharp nails dragged slowly, deliberately up and down the center of his tummy in long, torturous stripes, occasionally dipping into his belly button with a quick swirl that made Seungmin’s soul leave his body. Felix’s fingers spidered chaotically across the upper belly and lower ribs, light and fast and impossible to predict.
"Tummy rubs!!" Jeongin announced, like Seungmin was actually his dog, scribbling haphazardously over the older's exposed tummy.
They finally started slowing down after what felt like an eternity to Seungmin—fingers easing into soft, lingering traces that still drew out bubbly, exhausted giggles.
Chan ruffled his damp hair gently. “Learned your lesson, golden boy?”
"Yehes...yes...noho mohohore bratting ohohoff..." Seungmin panted into his bicep.
"That'll teach you to be more humble." And the whole dorm was laughing again.
dw guys ill update this fic tomorrow BAHAHAHA
kay anyways my gf got mad at me for dedicating this fic to her just for it to be an april fool's joke that wasn't even permanent T_T so here yall go
Summary: How I think each member would tickle the others! <3
TW: A teeny tiny little bit of angst, other than that none that I know of, but please please please let me know if there are any you think I should include!
Chan:
-AUGHHH CHANNIEE
-softest, sweetest ler out there
-...unless you REALLY provoke him
-in which case TEASES for DAYS
-but not just any teases
-COMPLIMENTS
-"Awh, don't hide your pretty smile from me!" "Was that a giggle? Cmoooon, don't stop! It was so cute~" "You look so adorable when you blush like this~"
-likes to be gentle and drag out the tickles instead of going for the death spots
-but he CAN, and he WILL if he has to
Mini scenario / promt:
Chan walked in to the dorms after returning from the studio, immediately seeing their youngest member on the couch, scrolling on his phone. He smiled, a mischievous idea quickly making itself known.
He walked over to where the younger boy was sat, sitting down next to him. Jeongin looked up to greet him, but his words were cut of by a squeal as Chan wrapped his arms around his waist, his fingers gently prodding and kneading at his sides.
"Hey hyu- hyuhuhuhung nohOHO! WAHAhait!" He giggled, squeaking as the eldest pulled him to sit in his lap, before leaning forward to nuzzle his face against the younger's nape.
"Why, Innie? Hyung wants to see you smile~"
The dorm was filled with happy laughter for the rest of the afternoon, and if Felix snapped a couple of pictures when he poked his head out of his room to see the commotion, then...well. No one would have to know.
~~~
Minho:
-THE MOST RUTHLESS LER IN THE GROUP
-always goes for death spots straight away (unless you're Felix or Hannie, in which case he sometimes opts for softer tickles (if they want them))
-absolutely EVIL teases
-"Oh, did that tickle?" "I can't believe you're sensitive here, it's so random." "Can you really not keep your arms up?"
-uses tickles as "punishment" (but it doesn't really work since all the kids love it) ((it's kind of positive reinforcement at this point))
-he might be a mean ler, but he takes aftercare very very seriously
-he will cuddle his victim to their heart's content and feed them lots of snacks and water after
Mini scenario / promt:
Okay. This was getting ridiculous.
They'd done this dance a thousand times before. Now, don't get him wrong, he was completely fine with any of the members making mistakes, no matter how often they practiced a move. It was only natural. But this was so, so easy, and the culprit was doing this on PURPOSE. Every time Hyunjin messed up this one turn, he would giggle, smirk at Minho through the mirror, and they would have to run through it again.
And god, was Minho losing his patience.
When it happened for the seventh time, he finally paused the music. Hyunjin at least has the decency to look a little sheepish, mumbling a little "oopsie?" as he rubbed the back of his neck. Minho sighed.
"Alright, everyone out. I think I need to give Jinnie some...one on one practice." He said, not even glancing over at the others as Chan ushered them out of the practice room, and purposefully ignoring the "oooohs" that the younger members let out.
When the door closed with a soft click, he cracked his knuckles, striding forward and gently pushing the ferret to lay down on the couch. The taller dancer was already giggling nervously, as if this wasn't exactly what he wanted.
"Wait- wait, hyuhung, I'm sohorry-" He stammered. Minho smirked, flexing his fingers and chuckling quietly when the younger flinched with a quiet squeak. Cute. He hadn't even started yet.
"Oh, you're sorry? Are you, Jinnie?" He taunted, latching his hands on to the dancer's ribs and scratching. Hyunjin immediately squealed, his back arching off the couch as loud giggles filled the practice room. Minho clawed at the backs of the bones, drilling his thumbs into his lower ribs in a way that made his victim howl.
Let's just say that when they finally made it out to the cars where everyone else was waiting, he had a very flushed and giggly Hyunjin in tow. He settled into the front seat with a content sigh, listening to Hannie teasing his victim the entire way home.
~~~
Changbin:
-can be either the softest ler ever or SUPER ROUGH
-he loves using his strength to pin down his victims
-doesn't tease that much because he gets flustered by HIS OWN TEASES (WHAT A CUTIE)
-doesn't always go for death spots unless he's really wrecking someone
-TICKLY KISSES. TICKLY. KISSES. AUGHHH
-more of a Lee than a Ler but is often a switch
Mini scenario / prompt:
It had been a long day of practicing, and Felix's back was acting up again, so Changbin had offered to give him a massage.
The lights were dim, and Felix was practically melting into the mattress as Binnie gently but firmly kneaded his tense muscles, the massage oil making his skin warm and soft.
However Changbin, noticing that the younger was getting sleepy, started to gently pinch at Felix's hips, resulting in the sleepiest giggles and little kicks against the mattress.
"H-Hyung! Stahahap!"
Changbin just chuckled, scribbling at the dip of his waist.
"Not until you feel better, Lix."
~~~
Hyunjin:
-AHH JINNIEEE
-most definitely a switch
-I feel like he would get his nails done and use them to torment the other members
-like imagine him with one of the maknae line laying over his lap, while he traced around their bellybutton or scribbled at their sides?
-"I just got my nails done~ do you like them?"
-DIABOLICAL
-or maybe while cuddling he would just lightly start to draw patterns on someone's back or trace up and down their spine
-OMG THE TINGLESSS I CAN'T
-I feel like he prefers the softer tickles and would tease his lee into a flustered mess
-he would purposely compliment their laugh and make them all cute and blushy
-TOOLS
-can you tell i love ler hyunjin??
Mini scenario / prompt:
Hyunjin had just gotten his nails done. Long, slightly pointed, in a lovely cherry red colour. However, Seungmin was being a brat - luckily the ferret knew exactly how to fix that.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are~ I'm gonna find you, puppy..." He cooed, walking around the dorm. As he looked for the second youngest, he tapped and dragged his nails along every available surface, knowing that the mere sound would make someone squirm.
He walked into Chan's room, immediately seeing the closet door slightly ajar. He smirked. Bingo.
"Oh? I guess he's not in here..." He drawled, walking past the closet and tapping his nails on the door.
"Gotcha!" He exclaimed, yanking the door open and dragging the boy out by his ankles. Before Minnie could even protest, he was already giggling, hitting Hyunjin's back as the elder scribbled at his socked soles.
"Gah! Nohoho- yohohou jeheheherk! Stahahahap!" He squealed, settling for just wrapping his arms around the taller boy from behind and muffling a squeal into his shoulder when he scribbled under his toes.
Let's just say that the other members steered clear from Hyunjin for the rest of the afternoon, and he took great pleasure in teasingly wiggling his fingers at anyone who passed by.
As if they weren't all going to ask him to use his nails on them at some point in the next few days anyway.
~~~
Jisung:
-mostly a lee tbh
-but when he's a ler...
-"Oh? Here? Riiiiight...there? Oh, yes, that's a good spot, huh? You can't even speak!"
-RASPBERRIES. HDNDNJKANNSNAMSNXB
-goes for rougher tickles to weaken his lee enough to pin them properly before actually wrecking them
-gets flustered by his own teases sometimes and occasionally (all the time actually) purposefully let's his victim get their revenge...just because he gives HIMSELF a lee mood from tickling someone else
-AUGHH MY BABYYY
Mini scenario / prompt:
Han was fed up.
Chan had been teasing him all day. Poking his sides during their break, scribbling at the back of his neck when he got into the car, meeting his eyes in the mirror and wiggling his fingers at him during dance practice...he'd had enough.
In fact, he wasn't even in a lee mood any more. Instead, he was going to give Chan a taste of his own medicine.
He found the leader in the studio that evening. No one else, just them. Chan smirked, watching the quokka close the door and immediately sit down on his lap.
"Oh? Hi baby...what are you doing he-EHEHERE?" He was cut of by a squeal as Hannie's fingers found his upper ribs, knuckling deep into the sensitive bones.
"Hi, Hyung. Nothing much, just...getting some payback." Jisung said casually, moving his hands up and digging his thumbs into the hollows under the elder's arms.
Chan went ballistic.
"NOHO- AHAHAHA, WAHAHAHAIT! PLEHEHEASE!"
The studio was filled with music for quite a while after that...and not songs or beats.
~~~
Felix:
-CHEER. UP. TICKLES.
-if any of the members are feeling down, Felix WILL tickle them
-"C'mon, don't be sad! See, there's that pretty smile we all love...hey, no, don't hide it again!"
-Switches between soft and rough tickles depending on the situation and lee
-more of a lee purely because the others tickle him all the time, but would actually be an amazing evil ler
-the other members would definitely ask him to tickle them AUGHH MY HEART
Mini scenario / prompt:
It was almost completely dark when Felix woke up to someone crawling into his bed. Now, this was quite a normal occurrence at the dorm, but it was usually at a more reasonable time than...2 am?!
A glance down and seeing those familiar boba eyes, now glassy with tears, was all he needed to know who it is. But the real question is what made his sunshine twin so sad?
"Hannie? What's the matter, baby?" He mumbled, his voice deeper than usual from sleep. He brought a hand up to card through Jisung's hair, frowning at the quiet sniffles from the other boy.
"L-Lix? Are my cheeks ugly?" The quokka whispered, a fresh lot of tears gathering in this eyes.
"What? Sungie, no, why would you think that?" The younger whispered back, cupping his face in his hands.
"They make me look gross...I don't like them." He mumbled, curling up into Felix's side. The blonde frowned, pulling him closer.
"That's not true, baby." He murmured. At the head shake he got in response, he sighed, wrapping his arms fully around the other boy.
"Do I have to convince you? Fine." He muttered with faux annoyance, quickly digging all ten fingertips into Han's soft sides and vibrating them. Jisung shrieked.
"Wha- wahahahaHAIT, NOHOhoho!" He squealed, muffling his laughter with one hand while the other weakly batted at Felix's shoulder.
Felix cooed, kissing his forehead, then his nose, then his cheeks. He finally stopped tickling him, instead nuzzling his face against his hair.
"You're perfect, Sungie. Now, it's time to sleep."
~~~
Seungmin:
-never really has the chance to be a ler, but when he is?
-EVILLLLL
-uses teases just as much as actual tickles
-ALWAYS GOES FOR DEATH SPOTS OMG
-"...seriously? That tickles?" "How are you so red right now?"
-TOOLS.
-Aims to tire out his lee, lest they immediately get him back - they always do anyway which he lovesHATES
Mini scenario / prompt:
Changbin really should have suspected that something was up when Seungmin crawled into his bed that evening. Poor, naive Binnie.
They both settled down for bed, Minnie tucked tightly to the older boy's chest. He was so comfortable that he almost forgot his original plan. Almost.
Just as Changbin's breathing started to even out, signifying sleep, Seungmin struck. His fingers crept up the rapper's back, settling at the base of his neck. Slowly, gently, he started to wiggle his fingers against the soft skin, his blunt nails scratching ever so lightly. This earned him a round of sleepy, muffled giggles, as Binnie scrunched his shoulders but didn't move away too much.
Cute.
Seungmin nuzzled his face into his hyung's neck, blowing little raspberries into the crook between his neck and shoulder. Binnie's giggles got louder, but he still didn't push the puppy away. He had been so stressed recently, and this soft affection was...really nice.
"Just sleep, Hyung." Seungmin mumbled. And within minutes, he did just that.
No nightmares would plague him tonight.
~~~
Jeongin:
-MOST DEFINITELY A LEE
-doesn't really tickle people because it just guarantees a wrecking for him later
-however...
-on the rare occasions where he DOES initiate a tickle fight, he will play DIRTY
-aka bully one of the other members into pinning his lee down while he tortures them (they love it though so...is it really torture?)
-rough rough rough tickles but soft enough to not tire the lee out immediately
-"Really? You put your arms down again? I guess we have to restart, then."
Mini scenario / prompt:
Minho had been bothering him all day. He clearly wanted attention, and unfortunately, no one else was home.
Fine. He wants attention? He'll give him attention.
"Innie~ Iyen-ah... Aegiya-"
Minho was cut off by a yelp, as he was pushed to lay down on the couch. He was about to protest, but instead of stern words, giggles poured out of his lips instead.
"Wahahahait-"
"Why, Hyung? You've been asking for this all day." Jeongin said, his fingers pinching quickly at the tops of the older boy's thighs. He scritched at the inner part, earning a cackle and a choked gasp.
"I'd say...one poke for every minute you spent annoying me? You've been doing it for at least three hours now...oh well, I guess we'd better start if you don't want the other to walk in on this! One...two...three..."
"NOHOHOHO WAHAHAHAIT-"
AHHH THAT'S IT!! My first contribution to the SFW tickle community is done! I really hope you enjoyed <3
“That’s not a thing.”
“Yes it is!” Chan yelled back at Han. Han was trying to prove his point that there is in fact a way to “turn your feelings off”… in a way.
“I saw it in a post about psychology!”
“Where, Twitter?” Han laughed.
Chan squeezed at Han’s side as Han scoot to the opposite side of the bed. They were in Chan’s room, and this debate had been going on for a while now.
“No, not Twitter smartass. It just said something about how surface level feelings can be, I don’t know, shut off somehow. It’s a real thing!”
“Mhm…” Han nodded in mock agreement.
“You don’t believe me”
“No.. no I don’t. But you can prove it to me”
“How?”
“Like this!” Han leaped onto Chan as he laughed at his sudden burst of energy.
“Whahat are you-?” Chan questioned before Han straddled his waist. Chan had already been laying faced down, so this wasn’t too difficult for Hannie to do. Although… he was wearing a pretty thick black hoodie, so he’d have to slip under that!
“Han, what are you doing.” Chan asked in genuine confusion.
“You’re stupid” Han laughed loudly at the clueless boy under him, “what did I literally just say you could do?”
“Prove to you that people can turn off their physical feelings..??” Chan said.
“Exactly! So… do it now!” Han said as he stuck his hands under the back of Chan’s hoodie and curled them around his ribs/sides.
“I CAHANT” Chan laughed out as Han tickled his way up and down the boys sides.
“Ahhhh I wonder why thahat is!” Han laughed along with a now screaming Chan, “Oh my GOHOD you’re loud!!”
“HEHEEHAHAAAELP I CAH- CAHAHA HAAHA” Chan laughed out with the occasional squeaks in between as Han attacked his weak spots, “PLEHEHEASE!!”
“You are a baby!”
“HEHEAHAAHHA” was Chan’s response.
Han just continued to scratch and wiggle his fingers all over his hyung’s sides, he was in the mood to be a brat and annoy him, but also to see him laugh. Plus, he was able to prove himself right at the same time. Win win situation for Hanji!
As Chan began to kick the bed and wiggle harder from side to side, Han realized he was about to get knocked off. Before becoming the next victim, he took his hands out Chan’s hoodie and ran out the door and away as fast as he could.
Chan curled up into a ball immediately and let his last giggles die out before taking some breaths. He knew he had to get that brat back somehow…
"I'll forgive you... but on one condition..." Jisung whispered in a voice hoarse from laughter, still trying to catch his breath.
Minho propped himself up on his elbow, looking at him curiously. His own heart was suddenly pounding faster. "What is it?"
Jisung slowly opened his eyes. They were filled with fatigue, the remnants of tears... and a mischievous sparkle that Minho had never seen before. It seemed the bursts of laughter had knocked not only the air out of him but also a piece of his old fear.
"You... can't do anything to me... for this..." he said, and before Minho could process it, Jisung abruptly flipped over and dug his long, nimble fingers into Minho's sides!
The silence of the room was torn apart by a completely different kind of laughter—deep, desperate, and utterly unexpected.
"KHA-HA-HA-HA! OH SHIT! HAN! STOP!" Minho gasped, curling up in surprise. He was stronger, more muscular, but the tickling caught him off guard, stripping him of all defenses. His body, accustomed to blows, was completely unprepared for such an attack.
"NO-O-O!" he roared with laughter, trying to push Jisung away, but the other, emboldened by this sudden power, had already climbed on top of him, not stopping his merry revenge.
"What's wrong, Minho? Don't like it?" Jisung was beaming, his fingers skittering quickly over his tormentor's ribs. "I'm loving it! Especially your laugh! It's kind of... surprised!"
"JISUNG! I'LL... AHAHAHAHA! KILL YOU! SERIOUSLY! STOP!" Minho writhed beneath him, kicking his legs and bursting into stifled, utterly ridiculous giggles. He tried to grab Han's wrists, but the other deftly dodged.
"Oh, not threats!" Jisung teased, discovering a particularly sensitive spot right under his ribcage. "That just makes it worse! Look here! Right here, yeah?"
"NOT THERE! SHUT UP! HEE-HEE-HEE! FUCK!" Minho arched his back, his face flushed a deep red. He was completely helpless, and it was driving him crazy. But in this madness, there was also a liberating lightness.
"Well, well, well..." Jisung, finally catching both his hands and pinning them to the floor above Minho's head (oh, the irony!), leaned over him with a triumphant look. "Who's the 'terrifying Minho' now? Who's 'still the same,' huh? Where's your threat now?"
His free hand went on the attack again, tickling the guy's underarms.
"I'LL KILL YOU!! IDIOT!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! NO NO!! GOD!!!" Minho screamed, laughing to the point of tears and completely losing his dignity.
Jisung paused for a second, savoring the sight: his main tormentor, the mighty and fearsome Minho, splayed out on the floor, red-faced, breathless, and utterly defeated by tickling. But he had no intention of stopping. He turned and swiftly attacked Minho's thighs.And he flinched at the scream he heard. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!NO!!!!! NOT THERE!! NOT THERE! NOOOOOOOO!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Jisung's face lit up.This was a real find. The one who had tormented him all year. The one who held the entire school in fear. The one who was his nightly nightmare. The one whose voice instilled fear the moment he heard it... was now squealing under Jisung's fingers... under the fingers of the one Minho had bullied and hated. Jisung turned and looked at Minho's face,as if not believing what he was doing... and literally melted at the sight of the guy. On Minho's face was the sweetest smile,not the evil one Han always saw, but one that was too kind... tears were streaming from his eyes! His nose was red! His eyes widened and then narrowed again from laughter... and oh my God, he was scrunching his nose! He scrunched his nose when the tickling became too unbearable. He tried to cover his face, but couldn't keep his hands in place, weakly slapping Han's broad back again. "Like a kitten..." Jisung whispered. "I'M NOT..!!I'M NOT..!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !! Minho couldn't protest as Han's fingers began to scratch his kneecap...Minho kicked his legs, but couldn't shake Han's fingers off. Jisung placed all his fingers on the middle of Minho's kneecap, then spread them apart, moving down and all over the knee area. It didn't seem like a particularly complex or rough movement, but it was devilishly ticklish for poor Minho. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!I CAN'T!! I CAN'T!! JISUNG!!! HAN!! STOP!!!! HANNIE!! HANNIE, PLEASE!!" Minho pleaded.
“Well… alright,” he relented, letting him go. “Consider it accepted as the first act of forgiveness.”
He climbed off Minho and scooted to a safe distance, still giggling.
Minho lay there for a few more seconds, eyes squeezed shut, trying to catch his breath. Then he slowly sat up, rubbed his reddened eyes, and looked at Jisung. There was no anger in his gaze. There was astonishment, embarrassment, and… respect?
“You… little devil…” he exhaled, but his voice held not malice, but rather involuntary admiration. “I… I underestimated you, hamster.. uh..Hannie..
Jisung smiled sheepishly, looking away. “Well… you asked for it.”
They sat on the floor facing each other, both disheveled, red, and breathless. Outside, the rain began to ease, turning into a soft patter against the windowsill. The tension had finally melted away, replaced by a strange, new lightness.
“So… are we even?” Minho asked hesitantly.
Jisung thought for a second, then giggled again. “For now—yes. But I reserve the right to repeat it. Just in case.”
Minho snorted, but the corners of his mouth twitched upward into a smile in return. “Threatening me? Okay… accepted.”
Perhaps it was the strangest truce in history, sealed not with a handshake but with laughter and tickling. But for both of them, it meant much more than any words..
They sat on the floor for a few more minutes, catching their breath and occasionally glancing at each other. The laughter gradually subsided, replaced by a light but comfortable awkwardness.
“Damn,” Minho broke the silence first, rubbing his stiff neck. “I’ve got goosebumps… all over.”
Jisung smirked faintly. “Complaining? After a year of my bruises?”
Minho met his gaze and suddenly realized he couldn’t help but smile. A sincere, non-venomous one. “Quiet, hamster, quiet..”
He sighed heavily and got to his feet, offering a hand to help Jisung up. After a moment’s hesitation, Jisung accepted the help.
“Alright,” Minho stretched, his shoulders cracking. “Since you survived the bandit attack and… um… the subsequent retaliatory measures… I should feed you. The ice cream is ruined, but I can make ramen. Two-minute, from a packet, but with an egg.”
Jisung looked at him, still not quite believing what was happening. Minho was offering him food. In his house. After they had just been rolling on the floor, reducing each other to hysterics with tickling.
“…With an egg?” was all he could manage, feeling his stomach betray him with a rumble.
“With an egg,” Minho confirmed and headed to the kitchen, throwing over his shoulder: “Just don’t tell me you’re vegan, I’ll have nothing to feed you then. My heart can’t take that kind of disappointment today.”
“No, I’m… I’m not vegan,” Jisung replied hastily, following him.
They ate ramen at the kitchen table. It was quiet, save for the sounds of spoons and the awkward slurping of noodles. But it wasn’t the oppressive silence that had existed between them before. It was filled—with unspoken apologies, the unexpected discovery of something new in each other, and a strange, budding curiosity.
“Listen,” Minho started again, pushing his empty bowl away. “About school…”
Jisung tensed.
“…No one will touch you. Not my guys, not anyone else. I’ll talk to them. So… you don’t have to hide in corners anymore.”
Jisung nodded, swallowing the lump in his throat. This was more than he could have expected.
“And… about…” Minho fidgeted in his chair, clearly feeling out of his element. “Well. What happened. Between us. I… I won’t do it. Anymore. I promise.”
He wasn’t looking at Jisung, staring at the table instead.
Jisung was silent. Then he said quietly: “What about the tickling?”
Minho’s eyes snapped up to him, his face a mask of surprise, almost panic. “What? No! I just…”
“I’m not talking about you tickling me,” Jisung interrupted him, a barely noticeable but confident smile playing on his lips. “I’m talking about me tickling you.”
There was a pause. Minho looked at him, eyes wide. Then he snorted, blushed again, and laughed stifledly, rubbing the back of his head.
“Ah, well that… that’s a different matter. That’s…” he stumbled, searching for words, and finally just waved his hand. “That can be considered an act of restoring historical justice. Occasionally.”
Jisung laughed—quietly, but sincerely. It was a good sound.
Later, when the rain had completely stopped and Jisung was getting ready to leave, now in his dry but crumpled clothes, he stopped in the doorway.
“Minho?”
“Huh?” He looked up at him, clearing the bowls from the table.
“Thanks. For… for everything. For today.”
Minho froze for a second, then nodded, again not looking at him. “Yeah, whatever. Take care, hamster.”
Jisung was already stepping out the door when he heard his voice:
“Hey, Hannie!”
He turned around.
Minho was standing in the kitchen doorway, leaning against the frame. “At school tomorrow. Don’t pretend you don’t know me, okay?”
There was no command in his voice. It was a request. Almost.
Jisung smiled. “Okay. I won’t.” Minho added: And..maybe stay.. the night?
Jisung looked at him in shock.. but then his expression softened.. and he nodded.
"I'm not hungry." Were the only three words needed to set alarm bells echoing in Jisung's head, fingers curling around the doorframe tighter as he looked at the elder in nothing short of concern. Mere moments ago, he had been raving about a new Japanese food store that sold pudding, practically bouncing off the walls in an attempt to get Jisung to hurry up and finish his work so they could both try it together. However, the moment he had hurriedly rushed to put on random clothes that made him look like a fashion designer's model, hat practically tipping over and covering his eyes, Minho had abruptly changed his mind, not even sparing him a glance.
"Are you sure? I might just go by myself and eat some good pudding~" Han coaxes, even wiggling his eyebrows, shuffling his arms side to side with a small smile. Despite all of it, Lee Know remained radio silent, pursing his lips into a thin line with the younger's silly actions. Noticing that his usual go-to cheer me up wasn’t working at all, he climbs onto the soft bed, hearing it creak and the sheets dip beneath him earning a wince from the quokka. He moves his face in an attempt to see eye to eye with the older, but each time he gets even into his peripheral view, Lee Know instantly turns his head to the other side, as if trying to hide something.
"C'mon, what's got you so down? Did I do something wrong?" Jisung bites his lip anxiously, his upbeat attitude beginning to fade down with the somber atmosphere, deflating like a balloon that just got popped. Finally locking eyes with the ace, Minho brings him into a tight hug, but the unrelenting silence bothers the quokka, nonetheless. It wasn't till he felt fingers gripping the back of his shirt tighter and tighter did he realise that there was indeed something wrong, just that the elder wasn't exactly ready to spill the beans yet. The least Jisung could do was provide some kind of support, tugging him closer, rubbing his back in small circles, whispering reassurances into his ear, he tried and did everything.
"I don't know, I just... don't feel good," Minho starts off with a shaky breath, pouting slightly when he's pulled out of the younger's shoulder, feeling a palm press to his forehead. Jisung winces at the sudden heat it produces, it was no wonder why Minho felt suspiciously hot when they were hugging. Bringing a thermometer over from the nightstand, it was then proven true that the older had come down with a fever, staring at the sign of 40 degrees Celsius with an almost disappointed gaze. Being pushed back onto the bed tenderly, Han practically teleports around the house, speeding around with medicine and water in hand that nearly split all over the floor from how fast he was running.
"You and I both know you're sick, so please take this," Jisung chided, holding a spoonful of fever meds right to the elder's lips, who stubbornly refused, pushing away his wrist like a petulant child. Softening his gaze, he decided to try another tactic, fingers skittering up Minho's side while the other still held the spoon. Knowing the dancer, his lips immediately parted in a fit of breathless giggles, shaking his head as he stamped his feet on the bed. Seizing the opportunity, he smoothly slid the syrup between his lips, smiling tenderly when the elder's face scrunched from the bitter taste.
"Alright, have some water," Handing him a small glass of water, that Lee Know gladly chugged down in a matter of seconds, he whined and shoved at the younger's hands when he held a fever patch over his forehead, clearly wanting to deny any sort of babying treatment he was getting.
"Jisuhuhung! Nohoho!" Minho got out through strained giggles when nails scraped over his stomach, melodic laughter ringing throughout the room while Han struggled a ton trying to paste the patch onto the dancer's forehead, letting out a breath he didn't know he was holding when he heard a tiny wince emit from below him feeling the sudden cold against his body.
"You just love being so stubborn, don't you?" Jisung tuts in faux disappointment, scribbling both his hands over Lee Know's stomach now that they were free, watching in endearment when the elder weakly paws at his hands in an attempt to rid the tingles on his body, which obviously didn't work in his sick state.
"Ehehe! Quhuhuit it!" Minho barks, but it holds now bite as he falls back against the bed, kicking his feet like a child, it was the only thing he could do given his situation. Cooing in adoration, Han can't resist the temptation to pinch one of his cheeks, watching how the skin turned a bright red. Not from pain, but from how flustered the elder was at being treated as such.
"Nohoho more! Tohoho much!" Jisung lets up immediately hearing his tiny cry, not without one last scratch over his side, watching as he jerked away from the hand. He watches the older slowly melt back into the bed, quietly catching his breath. He almost jumps off the bed when he feels a hand on his back but comes to lean into it like a needy cat when it rubs his spine in soothing, tight circles. Placing a chaste kiss on his forehead, Han continues the comforting ministrations, humming a tune under his breath and noticing how fast Minho seemed to knock himself out to the singing and massage.
Pulling a blanket over the elder, he takes just a sneaky photo, sending it over to the members who gave all their best wishes to the snoring bunny, especially a concerned maknae who spammed the chat with crying emojis upon reading the message.
When Lee Know awoke later in the day, he was surprised to find his nightstand adorned with a pack of pudding, along with a bright pink sticky note that read, "Get better soon: from Jisung and Jeongin". It definitely made him feel lots better, no longer feeling hot from the lingering fever, but from the fuzzy feelings that wrapped around his heart.
