Les Mis 30th anniversary dream-cast:
Valjean - Ramin Karimloo. I'm quite biased on this one though. Javert - Maybe Killian Donnelly, he is absolutely fantastic at every role in Les Mis ever (I'm pretty sure he could play Cosette and we'd all love it - I just think Killian deserves more love tbh). Or perhaps James Gant, since he's a fabulous u/s. Or Hadley Fraser, but I'm trying not to turn this into the Ramley show too much. Fantine - Na-Young Jeon. Again, I'm biased, but I just think her vocals are flawless, and when I went to see her at least, her acting was great too. Marius - Fra Free. Is there anyone in the world who doesn't love Fra Free? I'm resisting the temptation to say Rob Houchen though, because I'm trying really hard not just to say the 2013/14 WE cast for everything! Cosette - Samantha Hill perhaps. I've only heard a few bootlegs, but she is rather lovely. Eponine - Carrie Hope Fletcher. I can't consider anyone else my 'Ponine anymore. She just becomes the role and I really would love to see her in a larger scale production. Enjolras - Ramin Karimloo. Maybe Anton Zetterholm. Or Fra. Fra can play two parts, right? I'm really fussy about Enjy. Grantaire - Adam Linstead, simply because he deserves some recognition after doing it for so damn long, lol. Thernardier - Cameron Blakely. I have a feeling no one will care as long as it's not Matt bloody Lucas tbh, and I personally really liked Cameron when I went to see the show. Madame Thernardier - Nicky Swift. End of.
