i wish i lived in a sweet town surrounded by nature and valleys, isolated from the rest of the world, but there's this girl i fell in love with in my first and only visit to the nearest city, and i only know her name and address, so i send her a handwritten letter every week. we both fall in love and then we meet eachother at the train station to finally end up living together near the sea <3

to all the lesbians, young or old, trying to figure out who they are, i know it's scary as fuck. whether you're in an accepting environment or not, its terrifying. you may feel like something is wrong with you. you may feel like you need fixing or maybe you just "havent found the right guy yet." but i promise it'll work out. one day you'll be able to wake up next to the woman you love. her hair will be an absolute mess but she will still look nothing short of beautiful to you. one day, you'll be able to stand next to the woman you love in the kitchen of the home you own together, preparing together. just give it time.

story time

i swear my girlfriend and i are part of some au lesbian fan fiction

anyway, my girlfriend and i met in november of last year and imemdiately clicked. we were at a school in the deep south of georgia where theres a baptist church on every corner and about two stoplights in town. just about everyone is homophobic and racist. so it kinda sucked.

but her and i had last block together for the first semester. i was a new student in october and didnt really socialize with anyone. i had come straight out of an online schooling program for the last eight months and wasnt used to all the socialization even though i had done my fair share of moving around and going to different public schools.

she reached out to me through a family friend a couple weeks after homecoming. apparently she had seen that i had been forced to go alone by my mother and had little to no actual friends at the time.

we started talking on snapchat before talking in school. she was the first person who treated me with some decency. an obviously gay girl with a neurological condition that caused her to involuntarily twitch about and say random things. she didnt care.

well, december came around and she was still the only real friend i had. throughout december and january, a city about an hour away from me opens an ice skating rink every year. the first week it was open, she asked me to go with her. i had been ice skating several times and even done regional competitions when i lived up north. but she had never been.

the first time we went, it was undoubtedly hilarious. i had to help her with the skate sizing and lacing. then trying to balance her on the ice was an entire other hysterical story. also keep in mind, we were the only two there for a good three or four hours.

she fell several times and eventually had to hold my hand to keep from falling down (she later admitted she only used this as an excuse to hold my hand). finally though, she got a hang of it and i taught her a couple of spins and a single jump.

about an hour before we left, we got some hot chocolate and shared a really fuckin big cookie. after that, we went ice skating every weekend until the rink closed for the saturday night hockey games for the rest of the winter season.

now we have been dating for almost 6 months and i couldn't be happier. its like a real life fairy tail. but gay.
