BLONDE CUT . BLONDE EYEBROW. THIS SUMMER !
I need y’all to put y’all big girl panties on and STOP infantilizing yall self within the lesbian community. I’ve been on tumblr for all of 3 weeks and I’ve already seen some pretty disturbing shit within the community. Every other post was something along the lines of “ butch x femme” dynamics. and what I’ve peeped is you hos are pick me , butch centered even. No identity outside of feening for butches. I mean I get it they’re hot but that’s ALLLL some of yall talk about. Language is very important here and the way a lot of mainstream lesbian accounts write about butch/femme dynamics literally just makes butches sound like men . Stop making the studs out to be men my gawdddd! i've noticed theres such a huge focus on like a working butch-stay at home femme in those spaces and “oh femme is soft, sweet, and artistic and butch is hard, protective, smart, and hardworking" Real lesbians share the load regardless of the label. Taking care of ur masc partner doesn’t emasculate them they could still be just as butch hardworking n strong but femmes are not docile helpless creatures . Butch x femme is not heteronormative but the roles you place on yourselfs and your butch is. This frame of thinking created the rise in soft masc. y’all are reinforcing the mindset that The only way to be treated with love care and respect is to be even somewhat feminine , if not in presentation then in actions. Speaking of the importance of language in the lesbian community, saying STUD is just as queer if not queerer as saying butch. It’s important that we as black lesbians be louder in our appreciation for studs. If we don’t use OUR language they’ll erase it.
With love , don’t be in the comments with no bs cus you will get cussed out

Where da studs at it’s getting hot outside ?????
Since cutting my hair i been playing around with androgyny here n there. For the longest time I considered myself a dom fem up until last year. Literally on my birthday I discovered that I’m actually a stem. But I been finding it hard to feel fully comfortable with that label since I mainly dress fem. It’s mostly because ion got that many masc clothes so I only dress that way once inna blue moon 😭. Sooo I made this moodboard to remind myself there’s more than one way to be/dress stem.
Hi💋
