           “Kai?” He was sure that he heard the other come in. Or, maybe he was just hearing things? Perhaps, he just hadn’t seen the other in so long that his mind was playing tricks on him. Video messages could only go so far -- he wanted to talk to Kai in person. He had new books he wanted to read to him, new things he wanted to show him and new stories to tell.

  Most of all -- the house just seemed empty without the other in it. “Maybe, I am just hearing things.” He mutters, going back to doing what he was going.

     “Mrs. Johnson. It’s beautiful to see you here...again.” Mary was hoping for a bit of alone time with the president, see if there was any way she could be nudged towards joining her side. however, the ever present first lady provided mary no such time. “I was not informed you’d be here. But yet. Here you are.”

she can’t lie, but lately it seemed like valentino wouldn’t want to talk to her as much, but of course alice never really let him spur away from her. she would always make sure he’s okay. ‘ hey, val!’ she greeted as she looked at him with a smile. ‘ you wanted to see me, right?’ she looked around- looked like there was no one around which was a little bit odd.’ anything i can help you with today?’
