I’ve got this key, You see, I’m trying my hardest to fit it in the lock.

I know for a fact that whatever is behind that door is what I’ve been longing for, and I’m frustrated it isn’t opening. I’m getting angry now, my hands are shaking with pressure. I’m using all my force to try to get this dang lock to unlock. You come up behind me with a gentle smile and compassion in Your eyes. You know exactly what I want, but it is not the right time. You hold on to the golden key. Not with-holding for Your sake, but for mine.
