Like in Tarot, this card doesn’t really mean literal “death” 99% of the time. This card instead is the end of something, though. It will feel and be natural, and it dying away will give you room to start afresh in the area it was keeping. So maybe a job that will end, but it’ll lead you to a better job that’s part of your career. That sorta thing.

Hello Allec :) A while ago you did me a reading and you rolled the dice to confirm if the message was really from Lugus. So my question is how can you use dice in divination? Thank you!

I was doing a simple yes/no question, if I recall, and told the die that “yes are evens, no are odds” and rolled. When the die landed on a number, I took the even or odd number to mean a yes or a no.

Hey!! I actually saw your message and I usually am more active there, but a combination of queuing and being on tumblr for specific networking reasons on my main blog has in fact rendered me more active here, for now. Life situations and such have rendered me INCREDIBLY FLIGHTY. Sorry!!

Thank you for the meditation encouragement letbewild  I have a few beat audio tracks that I think would be helpful.  I think I will try to use them in the beginning.  Finding the right sitting position seems to be difficult for me.  I might just lie down or try sitting in a position that is comfortable for me but not one of the traditional meditative postures at the beginning.  I keep feeling like I need to have everything correct at the beginning, and then my anxiety/fear gets the best of me.

Hello there ^_^ 

I've never tried one to be honest. I could look into it and see if there is any merit to it. My experiences with deity identification have been really personal. Emotions, connections, symbols coming to me, and research. Or introduction while attending a ritual and the more I was around the deity, the more I started to feel a close bond being built beyond the standard working relationship. And again I would usually start to see an influx of symbols that related to that deity and it would give me a sense of confirmation. 

In that vein of thought, if symbols are what these kind of readings analyze... then maybe it would be done after you've been sensing some activity? And if the symbols it reveals match the symbols you've been seeing recently, then you could research and discover whose trying to get your attention. These are just my own thoughts on how something like this would work. Hmm, I might look into it :) It could be a good reading to do with the druid animal oracle deck.

Note though, not all deities like to speak via pendulum lmao I learned that lesson alright! Some are kind and patient and will give you some direction with pendulum (such as Brighid, who is my primary goddess) but some rather deal with you directly and will give you sarcastic answers (such as the Morrighan, who is my hubby's primary goddess). And Cernnunos doesn't talk to me at all... he's just present and protective and loving and really fatherly, but sends me emotions and feelings rather than words or symbols. Interesting stuff! Thanks for your question!
