Alex was tapping her leg anxiously as she waited. She couldn’t believe that she had gotten this opportunity. After everything that had happened, the UN bombings and the resulting events, the whole world wanted to know the truth. And, by pure dumb luck, she’d managed to get an interview with someone directly involved.
When the door opened, she looked up. “Hi, Agent Carter,” Alex said with a nervous smile. “I, uh, I’m Alex Anderson, from The Daily Bugle.”

Laura was rather used to strangers randomly showing up on the family farm, but usually they were people she recognized. This new visitor was not. She quickly passed Nathaniel over to her son Cooper and told the children to get inside the house. Turning her attention back to the woman, she smiled a bit. “Is there anything I can help you with Ma’am? It’s not everyday we get guests as the way out here.” she stated.
