The council of Lethe currently consists of a motley crew of supernaturals, some natives and some not, and it is to them the people are meant to look for guidance in times of strife. For those of our members who play one of the cast of characters on the Lethe Council, we have our first task for you. Answer the following as a headcanon post and tag it with the tag listed below:

What is your character’s opinion on the Sokolovs (Nikolai, Yuri, and Lukyan) and how the council is handling them, given their checkered pasts and possible misdeeds? Tell us if your character disagrees or agrees, or if they have no opinion at all. 

What is your character’s opinion on Emira Bersen, who has been proven to be behind several attacks, albeit ones unreported to the Lethean Police Department. Does your character know of them? Are they keeping an eye on her for the future should these attacks continue?

What is your character’s opinion on witch hunters / hunters in general? What approaches would your characters take on this pressing issue, even though as of now it is unconfirmed that some are hiding in Lethe or headed towards Lethe, thus threatening the lives of every citizen in town?

What is your character’s opinion on the serial arsonist currently loose in Lethe? As of now they have targeted Ingrid Gagnon’s place of business, councilwoman Delilah Sarkissian’s house, and a couple of other places. See this post for more information on the arsonists. How does your council member think the situation should be handled? Investigating, leaving it to the experts, etc? Do they believe it is even a council specific problem, or a specific person's problem?

What is your character’s opinion on the other council members? Any strong opinions towards any of them? Be as detailed as you like or as brief as necessary. As an example, we know right now that Maksim is pro werewolf and pro pack, we know that Odette keeps to herself and her liches unless called upon, we know Andreas is vocal about the things he wants for the selkies + his dislike for people like Maksim, etc. Where does your council member fit into that dynamic?

Life After The Gala || Drabble

The night of the gala felt like a dream gone wrong. What started with a night of leggy dresses, spiked punch, and surprise kisses quickly turned into a murder mixed with claustrophobia and panic. If Tilda hadn’t been there to calm her down, Naomi would’ve left with more than a headache, shaking hands, a bloody nose and bruises. Patrick’s death wouldn’t have affected her as much if Tilda’s friend Fiona hadn’t made such a commotion about it. Hell, maybe she would’ve just been able to ignore it while the crowd raged on. Maybe she would’ve just put headphones in as she worked her magic to get the doors open. And the question still remains; would Naomi have stopped using magic, had Tilda not been there? She still didn’t have an answer. 

A night filled with people is stressful enough without a dead body and locked doors. Somehow, and she’s sure most of this credit goes to Tilda, Naomi ended up getting home okay. Yeah, somehow after they’d tried blasting open the doors and fallen on their asses, they still managed to get to the car and drive home. Honestly she’s impressed with Tilda’s ability to stand pain...how the hell she drove home after that will forever be lost on the witch, though that’s most likely to do with the fact that she passed out on the way home. No more parties, she’d decided the next morning. Even declared it aloud to Tilda before she left for work. Maybe the night would’ve been fine without all the chaos. Hell, it would’ve been nice to have the biggest problem of the night be Shiloh and Adam’s fight, but no. 

No, something is changing in Lethe, Naomi can just feel it. Perhaps there’s been unrest the entire time among many people, and it’s all just coming out now. Whatever the case, she figures it’s the least of her problems. Considering there’s something growing inside her that’s much, much worse.
