Choi made me sad so I decided to share the sadness ✨ Aka, DER Choi’s will

the focus today is on the yellow (red is for something else). Actually there isn’t much to say, but I thought I would lovingly point the angst out for everyone else to enjoy.

Which is: what would DER Choi’s will even be?

All he has is an empty waiting room. It’s possible Jaekwan isn’t there in DER due to [spoilers], I doubt Choi has anyone consistent in Black Tortoise 1 (will be another post), and Choi certainly wasn’t planning to disappear (also another post).

The other know members, two are ‘sick’, one is MIA, and the last is Team Elder. So…that will had to be directed to those four people, right? Actually, we can’t know for sure. It’s hard to leave a sudden will for someone who is MIA. As for the two sick people, maybe we’ll never know if they’re in a condition to be visited, if Choi has ever gone to see them, etcetera.

So, the Team Elder. The kind and gentle and strong Team Elder, who is often visited by Black Tortoise 1. The Team Elder who is often visited by her granddaughter, who Choi knows by name…

Isn’t it likely that his will requests people to visit the Team Elder and her family, in Choi’s absence. To take care of Team Elder and visit her so she isn’t lonely. Maybe even to apologize to her on Choi’s behalf. I wonder who the agent was that would have told her. Was it Haegeum, if Haegeum was even alive at the time of Choi’s death?

Of course there’s probably other details. Delegating matters. What to do with his belongings. Perhaps a message to the dokkaebi flames who he befriended. Maybe a request to leave the BT1 waiting room board full of messages untouched, if that’s something he thought he could request.

Haha, I don’t know what’s worse. Imagining Haegeum’s reaction to the tape and relaying that information to the Team Elder, or…. The idea that even Choi’s noonim doesn’t exist in DER
