Watching through old basement show footage
Brings back a lot of memories. Here's hoping we get to a load more this year. Massive thanks to all of the bands that have played up to now.

This was an incredible show.
Not sure about the grumpy sound engineer though...Martyn is never grumpy!
THE TANGLED TOUR
Tangled Tour London 08/10/11
Last night was the only London show of The Tangled Tour 2011. It was incredible. For the first time ever I got to experience being behind the scenes at a gig. Si and Martyn thankyou for putting on the awsome show. You 2 are a great team when you put your heads together!
Arriving at the venue and walking into a room with a musty smell and dodgey disco lights it was hard to imagine how the evening was going to turn out. An hour or so later the room was filled with boxes, guitars, bands and various other pieces of equipment. Suddenly the room felt very small and I couldn't picture how 100 people were going fit. It was definately going to be tight.
7:30 hit and the crowds starting piling in. We knew it was sold out before we even opened the doors and it was tough having to turn people away. Who'd have thought this gig would end up so exclusive. People who you wouldn't ever imagine would want to come to a hardcore gig were intrigued by the music from upstairs, finding themselves wandering to the secret party in the basement, drawn in by the secret community of craziness radiating through the sweaty doors. I now have a new found respect for the people who man the doors on a regular basis its bloody hard work!
The bands were amazing all putting on an incredible show. When it ended it was a weird sense of both relief that it had gone well but also sad that it was all over. With that the crowds left and the room was empty once again.
It is such a high to experience a night like that but the day after I am definately having withdrawal symptoms. Cant wait to experience it again.
Next stop Your Demise, Letlive and Spycatcher oooohhhh yeeeaaaa!
