“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” - Nelson Mandela #SpaceForHumanity is doing an awesome thing. I’m excited to share a bit of my story in the hope that I’ll be part of the #LetsGoWeightless crew and experience zero gravity with @spacehumanity, @gozerog & @nasablueberry. Since South Africa didn’t have a space program when I was growing up, I wasn’t able to choose a career that would potentially lead to space travel. Instead I pursued creativity, so I could tell stories of people, places and spaces from all around the globe - while still believing that I’d be able to attain my dream of going to space. I’m an effulgent dreamer and I’ve always believed that there’s power in having at least one ridiculous dream. Because the moment you believe that dream can become a reality - it makes everything else possible. And since I can remember, my ridiculous dream has been to go to space. Experiencing zero gravity will fuel my creativity and get me one step closer to attaining my life long dream of going to space. #spotthegprocket (at Planet Earth) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN1H6-EpXFu/?igshid=11mby2jmm6p6r
