Boothill bush but it's just steel wool. Send tweet
just resurrected after my massive food coma :> currently missing my wife quaqua
this my wife:
Headcanon sharing tiiime.
Marco- gay and genderfluid
If in legends the phoenix is always depicted as female and there's only *one* does this imply Marco's zoan is female? So he becomes a female phoenix? And he's completely chill with it and doesn't let it bother him.
He also doesn't care about looking/presenting a certain way he just prefers he/him pronouns.
Poly - because easy going, chill, doesn't limit himself.
yess i love this headcannon so much! He is just a chill guy vibing with gender
yess poly marco! he loves all his boyfriends
over sexualizing characters makes me so uncomfortable. keep in mind, i’ve no issue if the fanfic is rated correctly (pwp) or as an erotica. but personally? i can’t connect at all unless there is an emotional bond with the pairing.
bonus points if they go through genuinely difficult times together and show time and time again that they stand by each other’s side. that’s the hottest thing ever. or hidden touches when nobody is watching; like nick holding eric’s hand and giving a soft squeeze. or a gentle whisper into his ear that everything will be fine and that he will always be loyal.
The French Dispatch would've come out in 5 days if not for [REDACTED] ..... How we feeling boys?
Okay...on any given package of bake it/microwave it/boil it yourself food...the instructions always say:
Boil for 8-10 minutes
Bake for 11-13 minutes
Microwave for 3-5 minutes
Who else boils it for 9, bakes for 12 and microwaves for 4?
...just me? 😆
I started playing Destiny 2 about a month ago on account of wanting something new to play, and it had just gone F2P on steam so I thought I might as well give it a shot, especially since I have a friend who is really into it.
And while there’s a lot to say about Destiny 2, I think the thing that struck me about it the most so far is that, with the new intro and tutorial area, my experience with the game, or more specifically its world and narrative, has been surprisingly Souls-y.
And like, I know, Dark Souls comparisons are very trite and overdone at this point, but that is genuinely what it reminded me of. I made my character, went through the starting area, and as soon as I got through it I was thrown into a full of history and characters, where a lot of the important stuff had already been already happened. It was a world that was moving without me.
Of course, a large part of this is on account of the new starting zone. Before the game went F2P there was a whole story that continued the narrative from the first Destiny, but my character wasn’t part of any of that. My character just woke up in a junkyard in Russia with no knowledge of the whole two games worth of story up to that point.
And that was the part of it that felt Souls-like to me, because the game didn’t really bother to directly explain any of it to me, treating it as a known fact. As such it was up to me to figure out things out. Why did I get ressurected? What was the Red War? What the hell is the Vex? Who was this Orix guy that everyone keeps bringing up like he was a big deal? Why is there no Hunter Vanguard?
Destiny 2 isn’t really a deep or thoughtful game, and that’s okay, because it isn’t trying to be. But getting to dig into and discover all of the stuff the game already assumed that I knew was actually pretty engaging, in much the same way that I really liked trying to draw lines between things based on item descriptions while I was playing Dark Souls 3.
That said, I bought the Forsaken expansion during the steam halloween sale, and while I’ve enjoyed the story content in it so far, something feels fundamentally wrong about playing it. It doesn’t feel right seeing my character swear vengeance for the murdered Cayde-6, because I never knew him.
When he died, I was still just a corpse in a Russian cosmodrome.
