Performance Day 1
I am pleased with the quality of my solo performance in front of the group. I did have a few slip ups but that was due to nerves and sweat. The strengths of my performance that i personally felt, were those such as: Accuracy of playing, tight and clean playing, moderately decent improvisational solo skills, and the impressive complexity of the overall performance. My peers observed and commented on the following strengths: Quality of trills, triplets and complexity. Great stage presence, and stance. Tight and close timing. Some of my weaknesses that others observed: Tune the guitar before the performance, as it was slightly out, this shows an edge of unprofessionalism within the whole act. Improve aspects of accuracy when playing the guitar solos. Personally i felt it went really well, even though there was a few slip ups that could have compromised the performance. If i was to do this again, i would probably have a little more confidence and presence in front of the crowd/ group, along with improved accuracy. My playing skill and confidence will improve as i perform more frequently in front of increasingly larger crowds, so the experience of getting up on stage will not be such a big deal, therefore it won't halt and alter my skill, dexterity and personality while up on stage. For the next performance, i will have practiced the song through a lot more, to ensure its both note perfect and possibly in front of my family or others to increase my confidence in front of an audience. I will definitely practice the solo and research different guitar techniques to improve the dexterity in my hands.

Cage Warriors 54: Lewis Long v Mark Glover
Cage Warriors 54: Lewis Long v Mark Glover – Cardiff, Wales (May 4, 2013).
The cover of the 7 May 2012 issue of the Journal of Experimental Medicine, featuring artwork by Lewis Long. Long's artwork is based on Luk et al.'s findings "that injection of brain lysate from symptomatic aged mice into the brains of asymptomatic young mice is sufficient to initiate spreading of α-synuclein aggregates and to accelerate the onset of Parkinson’s disease–like symptoms. The original image shows α-synuclein (green) and microtubule-associated protein 2 (red) in the brain of a mouse injected 90 days prior with symptomatic brain lysate."
