Day 2 of my attempt to write a Lexa/candle fanfic and here is an extract of what I just wrote:

Lexa sets the candles up in a neat little arrangement on the table beside her bed, and when she lights them each night to bathe her sleeping quarters in a dim orange glow, she wonders why it has taken her until now to discover the beauty of the small open flames flickering in the darkness.
