This boy has not had the best 5 weeks of his life: two hospitalizations (one for urinary blockage, and another for dehydration and severe constipation), injury to the left paw from an IV insertion that left him walking on his wrist for 3 weeks, numerous vet visits and many days of ups and downs, and not really knowing if he will make it and/or if he wanted to keep fighting. His appetite is still not up to par and so is his drinking, but at least #1 and #2 seem to be functioning ok (for) now. He’s walking on his injured paw 90% of the time, and back to walking in the garden and mono-railing on the fence. Being on pee, poo, food, water, walk, behaviour watch...and overall 24-hr cat nurse and yes, cat physio/massage therapist, is exhausting, but oh, look at him today! He’s visibly happier this long weekend. Our handsome beast is on the mend. Here’s hoping this continues. 🤞🏼🙏🏼 . . Thanks to @burrardanimalhospitalemergency for all your help with Alex! Everyone there knows Alex and his super chill demeanour now. 😆 . . . #lexingtonIII #catsofinstagram #cats #kitties #feline #felinefine #labourdayweekend #furbabies #furday https://www.instagram.com/p/BnPPk1kFls4/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=grmcjjiv3ei7
