being trans is only considered a political thing because people who give way too much of a fuck about what’s in your pants are making it a political thing. and then they complain about it being a political thing.

Parker Lemal-Brown reflects on his career in marketing, consultancy, and as a scriptwriter in Hollywood. He also considers how sociology helps him navigate an overseas move, and his identity as a trans man.

I don't "wanna be" anything, I am a feminine gay man, and oh so sorry to say, as much as I'd love to argue whether cisgender men would really love and embrace someone like me, that I am taken so maybe another time.
Cisgender people, ask yourselves, before you claim transgender folks wanna fuck you so bad, consider asking yourself "do I seem like someone pleasing to be around?" I guarantee that if you're going around talking about never fucking trans people you're not lol.
I understand the discomfort of someone saying they want to be "assigned f/m at birth instead of m/f" honestly. It's uncomfortable when someone say it as though it's a fix all for dysphoria, or automatically makes you cis/perisex.
Assigned a gender at birth doesn't really mean shit besides the doctor deciding whether your junk looks more like a penis or more like a vagina. They'll re-assign to whatever's easiest on them to force you to become if it changes to be frank with ya.
The reductive usage of AGAB aside it's really awkward to have someone sit there and essentially imply they want to be you or swap bodies. I wish folks would just say "I wish I had a penis/vagina" or "I want a penis/vagina" instead of peddling misinformation about the nature of assigning gender and what it implies.
I come in the gc telling my partners I found a lost cat and was able to return it to the owner and our boyfriend immediately joins and says there's glitter on his dick and he doesn't know how it got there. Duality of man.

Trans guys stop making each other feel awful about not passing when it’s basically random pre t and the only thing that will actually matter is stuff you can’t change like your body and voice challenge. Also, even if you do pass, people still hate you just as much as that guy who uses neopronouns and wears crop tops if they find out you’re trans. We have one life so there’s no use trying to get approval from people who will never respect you.
This isn’t to say it’s bad to want to pass, it makes sense. I do one day but I know that’s not possible just by getting a short haircut and wearing clothes that I’ll hate anyways. Cause I’ve done it before and guess what? It didn’t work.
Just left a sever I quite liked.
FeltI was being treated like shit while my mental health was not the best, and I refused to let it become another big thing like last year.
For the last time, you see not safe in just one space. Diversify your social assets everywhere. Everyone is up to get you, even your friends, they just don't have the reason why yet.
