I think the whole“you don't have to be flawless to be loved” is true but not 100%.
I have been a terrible person and I had countless personality related flaws, the person that I love hurted me,and so corrected me.
Looking back in retrospect I hate myself back in 2021,I wouldn't want to date myself cause I was a total narcissist.
I have improved and learnt a lot
So I guess the thing is:you don't have to be perfectly flawless to have a partner,or a crush,or someone who's willing to sleep with you.
But you have to be a good person, patient, kind, to not get hurt in a relationship,in order to feel loved.
Relationship is easy, just swipe on tinder, but everyone around me,who has a HEALTHY relationship has paid their effort, all sorts of effort.
So I think the saying of just being conventional, stay the same awaiting for the one“soulmate” to come and love u unconditionally is hardly worth buying.
It's about the quality of a relationship not just quantity.
