Continued from here w/ Li and Hinata! @damnedreams
Li finds himself staring into Hinata’s face in an attempt to assess what her mood was. In the corners of his vision, his eyes pick up the shaking of her leg and the hands cradled between her thighs. However, not much weight is put on the body language ( as this one something he struggled with; paying attention to body language ). The biting of her lip does not go unnoticed, though.
He flops down next to her, hoping his relaxed stance will help her unwind. “Hai, I am here to visit Neji.” He knows that’s what she meant by him. “I like to keep him updated on my progress so that he knows I have not given up on surpassing him.” He puts on a grin, though it is melancholy.
Another silence falls between them. Li find himself leaning forward, elbow resting on his knees as he stares at the headstones in the distance. “You are always very quiet, Hinata-san.” Li says carefully— Something he was also working on; Thinking before speaking! “Your head must be filled with many thoughts.”
He tilts his head to the side to look into her face again and offers a concerned smile. “Please take care that it does not explode.”
