Liar, Liar ll Lugh & Leo
That day was especially hard for Fitz. He was asked to look into cloaking technology a person could wear for infiltrating a base; but he had run into numerous holes in the thought process. With his brain one step behind him at all times, Leo felt like he was straining against some glass wall while seeing through to the other side. He knew he should have more ideas, but nothing was coming to mind as he picked up and replaced objects on his workbench. After having such an emotional heart-to-heart with Skye the other night, he knew things weren't alright in his mind; but there was no way he would tell that to anyone else especially Jemma. So instead he tried to just plug along and attempt to force ideas to come to mind. The team didn't need to worry any more than they already were.
Fitz had just slammed a stabilizer back onto the table when he heard the doors open behind him. Heaving in a quick breath for patience and an added measure of calm to his countenance, he turned around to look at the new guest. May had mentioned she had managed to pick up a new agent, but he hadn't expected to meet the man so soon. Letting his eyes flicker closed for another moment, he made sure he knew what he wanted to say before attempting to speak. "What can I do for ya? Anything ya want in specifics? I know ya need your transmitter and pistol. . . but is that it?" He lessened the death grip on the counter, pleased that he didn't sound as dull as he thought himself to be, and especially grateful he remembered some of the things he'd need to give the man. "I'm Fitz."
