Btw guys, I do actually like Asmodeus. 1 little in character throw away line thrown in as a joke to lighten the mood in a vent fic of all things is not the end all be all of that person's opinion on that character.

As a writer I've started writing solely for myself. Meaning that while I do write character/reader fics I'm writing them mostly from my own POV, and I myself have a tendency to make jokes and jabs at things and people I like. I do wanna steer away from that Reader insert style of writing eventually but it's hard to break that habit after writing reader insert for 5+ years in another fandom that wasn't even reader fic focused.

Also, how are you gonna lie to yourself that Asmodeus isn't perverted. He is. And there's nothing wrong with that, especially since he often stops when told to. He's a lot more than that though, like kind and caring and gentle, but if you think he wouldn't make at least one comment about you being naked in front of him even in a serious moment then I don't think you care his character as much as you claim you if you just want to cherrypick the parts of him you do like and ignore the rest.
