I think local elections fought on national issues are kind of bullshit but I will happily admit to a little bit of schadenfreude here:

....I've been thinkin'.

The tories...usually seem to base their actions on "protection".

I looked into why ON EARTH they would vote against feeding children (back when they were basically called out and FORCED to give in) because...people always have some kind of "logic".

Turns out, many had "concerns" that abusive/addicted adults around them would take food packages and trade them for drugs and other similar reasons. (Also? Seriously? Just give the food! Its more likely they will eat, full stop! OR THINK OF A BETTER SOLUTION DONT JUST LEAVE IT IF ITS SOOOO CONCERNING)

..anyway. so this voter ID? Protection against voting fraud apparently? I hardly think tbh.

Also is it just me or do they ironically think in a scarcity mindset when they're usually well off?

Anyway protection seems to have a different meaning to them.
