Embrace🎗
This year, I'm going to take leaps of Faith. I'm going to embrace the "Year of Yes", as best depicted and explained by Shona Rhimes. I'm going to put myself, my likes/dislikes and personality out there; despite who feels some type of way or is intimidated. I'm going to embrace my God-given gifts and have faith that God will take me where I need to be/go on account that these gifts were placed in my life. I'm going to embrace more community service; atypical community service. I'm going to to travel more, learn a new language, learn more about a new cultural system and gain respect for it all in the process. My Year of Yes doesn't and will not include saying "yes" to users, abusers and wolves in sheep's clothes. I'm also going to say "no" to those that genuinely need to be said "no" to. I'm going to put myself first even more! I'm excited for my year🏆

Colorism vacay,
Travelled back home to NYC for the winter break and it appears that in certain spaces, men, surprisingly, Black men as well, disassociate from Black women on some major levels, both romantically and even professionally. It’s astonishing. The fetish/popularization of mixies and white girls are sickening. In the south, it’s more overt. Up north, it’s both overt and covert (which adds to the confusion)……
