I’ve always shown up as my authentic self, granted I may have been shy or reserved, but never anything other than myself… I care about opinions bc I respect the origin… & that’s if I fuxx with you. Finally, it has come! My hair anniversary was October 4th and I am so proud of my growth. My hair is much healthier since starting over. All of those years that I was natural prior to, I never knew what my mane was capable of. I always wore it straight, but now I know. I hated dealing with my hair and wearing it in its natural state. Now, it’s not often you see me with straight hair. Even when I don’t think it’s growing, it definitely is. Every fall, I usually go with blonde and brown highlights. This year, I decided to try something different and I am loving it! Being a mom has changed me a lot as well. I thought being natural would be easier for me after my 1st kid and boy was I wrong lol but I’m more patient and actually taking the time to learn and work with my hair.
