Simply put, I want to enable and support your Ironsworn-related creations. You keep full ownership of anything you make that is derived from the Ironsworn family of games, and retain all revenue from your creations.

Let's Talk About Ironsworn Licensing

Almost all of Ironsworn, Delve, and Starforged was already CC BY-NC-SA or CC BY, and now even more of it is; the only parts that aren’t under a Creative Commons licence now are the images, illustrations and design elements. Rules, descriptions of the rules, assets and oracles are all available for remixing. In return, you just have to provide credit, make clear that your new thing isn’t an official thing, and not be an arsehole.

The 1960s Inspector Spacetime films weren’t originally allowed to be mentioned or used in any way in the programme, despite the fact that BTV owned them.

The Corporation relegated them to non-canon status as a way to explain away why the Inspector was human and actually used Spacetime as his surname in the films.

Small Beginnings have never been allowed to use characters from the 1995 Inspector Spacetime made-for-telly film because of licencing issues, due to it being a co-production with the WOLF Network in the States. As such, when the writers wanted to use Charity Holliday as one of the Eighth Inspector’s Associates, they had to rename her Constance Worth.
