A little Life-Update

Hi everyone,

you might have noticed that I dipped again after uploading two fics in February. Truth is, I found out at the end of last month that I was being laid off from my job, which put me into a terrible mental state.

I'm actively trying to find a new job, but I haven't had any luck so far. Writing is usually a place of peace and also a form of therapy for me, but for some reason, the words just won't come out.

So, I ask once again to be patient with me. I know I promised TST2 and it is still going to come out, I just cannot tell you when.

Also, if you can and want to, you can support me on kofi. It's absolutely not a must, and I 10000% understand if you don't want to. But perhaps someone wants to help out in this time.

life update after 5ever

ONLINE DIARY!!! when i started this account and then never posted again LOL! not a lot going on rn... chillen at work i guess. I started working with Amalia on the Mother Tongue Film Festival YAYYYYYYY!!!! im very excited for the opportunity and im hoping itll be a freaking blasttttt plus Amalia so smart and a big deal so I hope she can be my bestieeee aye. I was feeling a little down about my "career" or whatever.. but i talked to zain and it actually helped everything happens in its own time / for a reason / im gonna be sexy forever!!!!!!!! Im not very happy about the fact I have tonsilitis and a fucked up back rn tbh... im rlly confused abt my back issues, and im also just so mad that at 20 i have back issues... feeling fat and uglyyy. i went to a rave and it was soooo fun but then my back was killing me which is just so sad.. becasue dam the rave was so effing litttt omg i will say DC is the vibeee and though i enjoyed going by myself im still waiting to make community or whatever.. BUT COMMUNITY IS OUTSIDE!! i just drk where.. but ill find it i guess. recently been feeling like the "floater friend" as tik tok calls it... just feeling disconnected from everyone and everything... but that's just stuff in myself... if my back ever heals #active! going to tap into #creativity! hope is there.. i believe in myself i guess. NEXT LIFE UPDATE I MAKE WILL BE MUCH MORE POSITIVE!!! i think i said that last time.. but i believe it this time a lot

Nighty Night Post

laying in bed eee!! After I left the library, I went to CVS to get a planner! I haven't used a planner in years, and I'm not totally sure what inspired me to buy one today, but I did. I wish I had been more organized in undergrad... cuz I would've done so much better in school. Ugh, there are a lot of things I regret about undergrad... and I feel it biting me in the butt, but I try not to let it get me down. Besides, you can always change it all around!!!!! And I'm doing that now, starting with my planner LOL. Also, as fun as it is posting on here, I'm realizing that I'm treating it like I would by finsta/spam... so what's really the point? Should I just redownload IG and keep my spam? I'm thinking no... cuz at this point I've been without IG since June.. so let's keep these good vibes going! Anyway, I wanted to get that off my chest before bedtime 😴😴 Wait I'm having fun posting on here!! Even though the pages I made aren't accessible through the Tumblr app I don't think... BUT WTV

HEYY ok i wanted to post a quick update since im already on here like whatever.... I probs won't do daily updates but I did want to post like a midweek one. ummm ok so todayyyy I woke up duh and I went to a lunch with my aunt for the Rotary Club #freelunchbestlunch yusss. omg and at the end of the meeting the club president came up to me to talk and we were talking about the Smithsonian and then he mentions how he is a black republican and i was like oh.. okay den... and then he was like "being a black republican is like being a gay man in the 80s" and i was like what 😭😭😭😭😭 i can't really speak to either experience but... i feel like it's just not 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 omg me and my aunt were laughing abt it it was lowkey weird to me... but anyways after thattt my aunt dropped me off at the MLK library so i can do my work 😏 cuz my job transitioned to remote work and bro... i'm not cut out for ts... i hate remote work like dude i haven't been up to shit the past couple days but no one say anything to my boss 🙊🙊 but i was lowkey productive at the library like i applied to some jawbs and i did a little bit of work.. not a lot but a little issok. tmrw im going to come back and deadass lock tf in.. cause i actually had fun here like yusss look at me working at the library 😆😆 now im going to go home except omg... i don't have my car at the train station and my aunt said she couldn't pick me up till like 8 😳😳 so i could just fuck around in the area and then go home or just take the long trek home from the train station.. decisions decisions... but i'll probably do the latter now that I think about it cuz Y not. ok that was my update for today i rlly like coming to the library i just get lazy abt leaving my house for some reason guhhh but trust tmrw i'll come and do my work it's gonna be awesome it's gonna be everything 😏😏✌️ ok that was my update for todayyy TTYLXOX
