Interference

So when your world is falling apart, and your dreams seem to be at fault. Where do you turn then? Who do you try to bring in? My heart is shattered, my emotions scattered. Love, hate, sadness, loneliness - they all seem to coincide. Each emotion attaching to the next, mixing until nothing can be distinguished. Sometimes my heart pounds for no reason, triggered by a moment, a scent lingering in the air. I’m hurt beyond words. The loss of her shouldn’t be mine to bear, yet it lingers inside me like a poison. Slowly leaking into every pore until I can’t handle it anymore. A wish made by me was a very seldom thing, but now I find myself pleading for a way out.
