SELFIE : Se. 1, Ep. 1. - "ANXIETY" Haven't felt anxiety like that in a long while. Having panic attacks since I was a kid, but didn't know what they were until high school. I used to think, whenever I felt extreme anxiety, that my head swam like a scrambled TV. They pass pretty quickly now, but damn, do they suck. Part of my personal mission with VHX Media is to talk about the things personal to me, even if they suck. Retro technology, old movies in tape, and photography help with that, beyond words describable. skin care routine 👄 #blessed // lol nah just kidding time for a real update #lifehasnofilter 😂 i probably wash my face properly about twice a week and i'll be damned if I can remember the last time I even used moisturizer tbh... I'm so depressed when I wake up in the morning I can't even get out of bed let alone use a face scrub and moisturizer. but these are the products I would use if I cared for my body on a regular basis. used them today before making lunch, buying groceries and picking up the kids from school and now I've called into an exhausted heap on the couch because depression is a relentless beast. so yeah. not much I even say on this account anymore (due to privacy reasons) but I wanna keep on being real about my life. thing is that mental health stigma won't go away until we make it go away and the only way I know how to do that is to be real about mental illness. so this is my life. this is what goes on behind the scenes. this is "high functioning depression". this is a debilitating illness. but this is also victory.
