Life Metal Such an amazing @sunnofficial show last night! The best I've ever heard them! Blasts and blats of blistering bass, wafting in like a blanket of fog off of a bay. Rather than prescribing to some idea of musical harmony, sunn o)))'s music seems more like an ecosystem, a weather pattern, something to explore and get lost in. Time seemed to slow, offering the opportunity to explore the sound like a tidal pool, watching life evolve in time-lapse fast forward. Sunn o))) in their purest form, no vocals this time, not even sure there was synth. Trombone was a nice touch, like exploring a brave new frontier. Pure magick, rejuvenating, healing.
