one day (if I’m lucky) this character’s passive investigation will be used (highly unlikely) and I’ll get to see my dm deal with the fact that it is a 21

my nerdy wizard is turning into a chaotic rogue. I do not think I will be able to stop at two levels of rogue
so. dnd campaign 1 just finished the first saga. the dm said our characters’ backstories will start to become more relevant and more will be revealed in the second saga. which I am so excited about because I really want to talk about my character’s backstory. and we get to level up and I was gonna just take my next wizard level but then I asked the dm a hypothetical related to another class and they said this multiclass could be really good and make good sense narratively and now I’m really excited.
Dnd today:
We killed a bunch of goblins
Then I took one of the goblins and named him chucklefuck which then evolved into chucklephil
Chucklephil is tied up in the cart now :)
From Session 9 :3 "dirtboot" said Caseley about the Pirate Eleanor "dirtboot" responded Lucien My Players :3 Lucien (The Party's Wizard who is a ex professor with sentient crystals growing from him, Variant Human/Biomancy Wizard :3) Caseley (The Party's Cleric without a god after her previous abusive one left, Winged Tiefling/Cleric without subclass currently as of Session 9 :3) My NPC :3 Eleanor (Pirate captain with dirtied boots :3)
@randmwizard ask and ye shall receive
meet Ara Luna: the party baby that must be protected at all costs (as designated by one of the other players)
for reference, what she has done in the campaign:
exclaimed that she hates being outside (she is a druid)
died after making it through combat unscathed because she failed dex checks so badly as the building crumbled around the party (no one else got hurt by the crumbling building)
got possessed by a ghost and did not give a fuck
called somebody a cop because he was mean to a party member she had known for one day
now the things the party does not know:
she grew up in a temple because her moms are adventurers who realized they shouldn’t bring a child on dangerous quests so they just left her there. she saw them once or twice a year growing up but hasn’t seen then in a couple years at this point
does not know her real name because her moms were never around to tell her
does not know what it means that she is an aasimar, like yeah she can heal people but that is all that she is supposed to do anyways so that doesn’t mean much and she doesn’t know anything else
was kicked out of her home because control of the temple was taken over by cops so it isn’t able to be the safe space for anyone wandering into town that it had been
is walking around in dangerous places without any armor because the head cleric figured since they all take care of adventurers she would be prepared to go questing except this is a very sheltered girl who just healed people so she had no clue what to do
thinks her purpose is to heal people and doesn’t know anything else to do because that is all she has ever done is just be told to heal people and listened
I can’t talk about my character in the campaign gc because one player wants to learn about everyone’s characters through playing, which is very valid. but I want to talk about herrrrrrr because I’ve planned so much and haven’t revealed any of it.
anyone want to know 🥺
so the other players seem to enjoy my character in this strahd campaign. which is nice to hear since I constantly feel like I made a bad character
