Beautiful Botticelli

What's Christmas to you ?

I dream of a bright blue sky

Vast as a land

Pretty than I am

Wondering if I could reach out and touch the clime of time

Time in it's prime

Sitting with presents in my lap

That weren't present

Neither was the afore thought of the present

Maybe I overslept

Maybe Santa do forget

Or maybe I missed his presence

Maybe tomorrow will be less vague

Less caged

Does good bring evil ?

Does the toil of man benefit the devil ?

The tidal wave of being

Beaten ,lashed

Those raped ,all those seen as thrash

They gave you scars to care for

More reasons to die than to live for

Bruised body , withered soul

Eternal prisoner to this unforgetting mind you own

Yet ,forgive the scourge ,never cast a curse

No matter how bitter the scorch

How the memory hurt

How you were brutally torn

How better you'd feel untouched

You are significant and true

No , we live through it all

Until we grow so numb

So null to existence

So quiet ,too contained

You die bearing secrets to the grave

Too long a sacrifice makes a stone of a heart

You deep-freeze your feelings till they rot-in-ice

So pale and fragile,you've become

What can't be seen by eyes

What can't be hidden by mere lies
