Biggest betrayal was coming back and realize that everyone I used to follow has also been inactive for the past year or more like no guys I have a life you're supposed to be happy forever and stay here !!
Book's so good you feel sick
I hate to love pretty book covers, because what do you mean I re-sold my hardcover copies of This Woven Kingdom (read) and These Infinite Threads (dnf) because the writing style didn't click with me, only to find the most gorgeous paperback (american size? With the cover one inch shorter that everyone and their nan's hate but I actually like very much) of These Infinite Threads in my forgotten-by-god city bookstore aND ALL OF A SUDDEN I had the urge to buy it again?? Just because it had a shimmery cover?? And art on the inside?? Get the fuck out.
I thought about Winx Club once (1) this evening and ended up taking out my old ring binder with all my drawings and crying over my probably lost box containing all the Winx themed thingy I collected between the age of 9 and 12 and remembered just how obsessed I was with those girls and now I have a Spotify playlists with over 100 of their songs and a Pinterest board and a new wallpaper/lockscreen and will probably start a full rewatch of the series
The best worst part of being a writer with little to no memory is when you have a creativity rush, that perfect idea, in the most unexpected moment or place. I was grocery shopping but nope, not anymore because I pulled my cart to the side and stopped there for 10 minutes straight, typing things on my phone before I forget them, while all the grannies walk past me with their disappointment and judgmental stare. Like no, Karen, don't give me the look. Someone's trying to realize a dream here, the chicken can wait.
So I'm in Milan and apparently Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are here as well, stealing my spotlight
