(cuz, sorry youngbloods, but this is for your own good..) its with great joy that i announce the death of "the death of hip hop." the death of your canned beats, your tinkerbell drums, and your step sequencers. the death of your sample packs, scratch emulators, and vocal quantization. the death of hickory dickory glock raps, drug dealers posing as rappers and rappers claiming they sell packs. the idea that quality has anything to do with exposure, (whose dick you suck on your blog or facebook, twitter polictics, all this social media bullshit and lowest common denominator ideology) is obscene. and if you feel like you're part of the problem (supporting/making trash, jocking garbage music you don't EVEN LIKE to get "put on," LISTENING TO GOTDAMN DRAKE,) treason gleason is coming for you. no offense to any of y'all, but gleason fucked around and cracked the formula.: son is NICER on the beats. all samples chopped/no samples cleared. son is NICER on the cuts. vinyl, bitch.
