not perfect, still progressing
Life has definitely been a lot. With its twists, turns, closed doors, surprise chaos… it just keeps coming.
As an autism mom trying to navigate a world that talks a lot but doesn’t always understand, people are quick with opinions, slow with compassion and sometimes it feels like everyone expects you to hold it all together perfectly.
Here’s the truth I’m learning:
-You don’t have to be perfect to be progressing.
-Some days I’m thriving.
-Some days I’m just showing up.
BOTH COUNT!
I think a lot of us are living that same exact balance. Doing our best with what we’ve got, finding tiny little pockets of peace in the middle of everything.
There will always be “stuff", but there will also always be better days.
We’re allowed to laugh, cry, recharge, fall apart a little, and begin again.
We don’t lose ourselves by being strong all the time. We stay ourselves by giving ourselves grace in the messy moments.
If you’re reading this: YOU ARE doing better than you think.
Just remember:
Better days aren’t just possible — they’re coming.
