7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?
Not particularly. She was always very close to her sister, they were only five years apart which is really no time at all for Elves. She had a lot of acquaintances from school and from the locals around the estate, she was the youngest around for a while so the only age overlap she got was actually in lessons.
She hadn’t kept any of her childhood friends into adulthood, most of them got married and had children, or they drifted apart after taking separate classes. Her taking on more responsibilities on the estate and around the village had the unfortunate consequence of alienating her in some ways as well. However, she has maintained contact and a degree of camaraderie with a lot of the men and women in the spinning and weaver’s guild. I just wouldn’t call it friendship.
10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?
She loves children, and children seem to like her back! There’s sort of an expectation for her to have her own, especially now that she’s the last surviving member of her family line and the regent for another. She would like to have her own someday, but she knows there are a lot of risk involved in the process regarding her own health.
The idea of being a parent honestly terrifies her, it’s a lot of responsibility on top of all the responsibility she currently has and she knows she doesn’t want to just shove her kids off on some governesses or something. She hopes she’d be a fair parent, and she knows she’d be able to give a child the best opportunities in the world due to her standing. Please let her be a godparent some day she will spoil the baby so much. So much. I don’t think she’d ever agree to babysit, she’s too busy.
