Jarvan, Lux, Garen (is anyone surprised rn)

brotp: UHM HMM IDK MAYbE HER ACTUAL BROTHER but as of very recently I could also totally see her being bffs with youcannotaffordme under the right circumstances lOL
general opinions: HONESTLY ever since I started getting involved in actually thinking about Demacia its always kind of irked me how many characters we have which are supposed to be “the Demacians” but all but two of them seem to be like “they’re Demacian but they’re not like the rest of the Demacians we promise!!” like Riot realised their concept for Demacia wasn’t hugely popular and had to fill it with special snowflakes instead of actually develop it a bit more and unfortunately Lux kinda comes under that? BUT she is different in the fact that she accepts it and that’s just so sad to me especially as a Garen RPer with A Problem around sibling feels. How hard must it be for her to know something isn’t right, and watch the people she cares about only sink deeper? There’s so much potential in her character (and you, if I may say so, do a wonderful job of exploring it).

general opinions: I know the least about Jarvan as a character and tbh its weird to think of his character cause I can pull like... zero discernible traits from his lore? Admittedly I haven’t read his lore in a LONG ASS TIME but I was never really interested in him till I came to RP and then suddenly I’m having all these feelings for his relationships w/Garen AND Lux (which are made all the more upsetting when you think on the whole it’s been Le Blanc posing as him all along). In SHORT I didn’t really care about him until the aforementioned Jarvan RPer made me like him and interested in him.

ship with: I didn’t have any Garen ships aside from the potential for arranged marriages which could include any Demacian noble lady, then that got romantic when I did it w/insolent-peasants. ALSO STARES RLLY HARD AT VAL bc of this admiral au I’ve been talking about more than I’ve written anything for but SOON!!!!!! soon... s o o n n

general opinions: laughs @the fact that Lux scores higher than Garen tbh. I honestly??? don’t know what happened??? with garen??? I never liked him. I hate him in game what obnoxious mechanics omg. I mock him way more than I should as a person who writes him. His character is flat. He’s boring. I’ve reiterated enough that I made the blog for my kat to give her a garen rival thread, but I never really intended to do much else. Then this bastard got a hold on me and I’m annoyingly attached to him. :l when I see people saying “Garen has no character he’s boring” despite the fact that I ACTUALLY AGREED at one point I feel the urge to lean in and whisper is that a challenge? and I suppose that’s the challenge I’ve set for myself, really. Making him more than the mindless follower who knows nothing but justice and loyalty and actually making him human. It’s fucking hard, I can tell you that much. >n>
