                  it’s ...    a complicated thing, isn’t it?    loving someone who would be approved by the family and someone who wouldn’t be - a boy who’s - soft hair and warm skin somehow manage to leave draco breathless without a thought.   pansy is ... safe.  with her draco knows that together they could concur the world.  the hallways split when they are together, the power couple of slytherin.  she’s beauty and fierce eyes and draco’s all sly tongue and fast wit.  ideally, draco and pansy are beautiful.  they are everything their parents could have wanted, and draco’s known her long enough to know they would be just fine.   he loves her, he does - but there’s just something about that boy from hufflepuff that draco can’t get out of his head.  

                 like something sweet, draco will chase, begging for another taste.  even if it’s not good for him, even if his parents don’t like it.   that’s the thing about being touched by - soft hands and kissed by a warm mouth.  levi, like most things he does, is suffocating - but draco chases, has mapped out his slim and sleek shoulders to memory.  begging for a kiss like a kid who wants candy,  because there’s nothing sweeter than the way levi caves when draco has him against a wall.  or the tower. or the pitch. or out by the lake.  

                       with pansy, things would be easy.   but also with pansy, there is a rut - a point of no return.   when draco decides he doesn’t follow the lead of the dark lord, that he doesn’t agree, pansy is still at the point of following.   no matter how easy everything was in the beginning, it’s not like that then.   eventually, things with pansy will fall apart - he can’t make her change.  he can only do that for himself.   

                    with levi, things will remain ... the same.   his parents won’t approve of it but at this point he doesn’t really care.  but draco is a coward in many ways, he could never fully admit to himself just how deep his feelings for levi reside.  he loves him like flowers love rain in the spring.  like a bee to honey, and levi - levi always tastes of honey.  i think ... it doesn’t matter where or when.  draco will always chase to find something sweet.  

                    it would be levi.

          “ just so y’all know, ” he’s not speaking as softly as he should in the library, really he’s not doing anything to adjust his volume and thusly risking not only him but their whole group getting reprimanded or even kicked out, but it’s very evident that james doesn’t care. “ if it wasn’t for this guy, we could be doing all of this in the cosy gryffindor common room. don’t tell me you don’t hate these. ” by this guy he obviously means bruce, the only other guy in their group, and by these he means the library chairs that are only comfortable for approximately 15 seconds of sitting on them. for emphasis, he rocks his chair back, and the chair responds with an indignant squeak. more input is not to be expected from j2, he’s said his piece, in his opinion the most important part of this meeting.

my opinion on:

character in general: sTOP i’m getting emotional even thinking about them. of course levi, who when i first followed over on roger was like okay neat this seems like a well developed oc nice vibe going on will put a pin in that... ( also side note even back then when i was still in the early development stages of my multi one of my main thoughts when reading the bio was ‘ hm levi and marty could get along.... ’ paul rudd vc: look at us.... ) ..... then we actually started plotting and i... was invested in 0.2 seconds i kid you not. levi is such a sweet but layered character, not overly ‘ main character special ’ ( uknow.... my absolute jam ik i don’t seem it but that’s my no. 1 fav oc type ) but still complex and fascinating and ?? i’m not kidding when i say i wanna know every detail about him .. i would high key risk it all for levi ... and then there’s bruce who is so fascinating to me because idk gotham or batman very well but for all i know this character now belongs to tara, i don’t make the rules that’s just how it is. i think he’s handled amazingly well with all these heavy topics while staying tasteful and respectful, you love to see it. 10/10 wanna know more about him. how they play them: nothing compares babey ! i mean they’re both © tara’s mind so there’s nothing to decide the ‘ accuracy ’ so... i’ll just keep rambling abt how much i love them ! bc i do! and the fact that tara knows every single little thing and has every vibe exactly Down and will put so much effort into mapping out every last little corner of their psyches and backgrounds ! and i know it doesn’t seem like people care but i care ! so much!! you put so much into these boys and it shows, they’re overflowing with it! they’re so vibrant! idk how else to put it and i’m lowkey crying writing this bc DAMN you do SUCH an amazing job. all the verses, all the headcanons, all the playlists and aesthetics, i’m so in awe with your mind. AND YOUR WRITING don’t get me started pls it’s immaculate and i WILL quote you at you with particularly spicy lines. the mun: not to be sappy or anything but i’m.... SO happy we started talking... if u couldn’t tell by me spamming u nonstop in a million different chats and servers...... you’re So kind and funny but also smart and talented NOT TO MENTION have great taste... i feel like we are on the same page on a lot of ( to me ) important things and i love that. it’s been not even a month? and i’m so comfortable around u ahh thank u for coming into my life i hope u have a great stay !!

follow them: of course best decision i ever made rp with them: yes !!!!! honestly mad and upset i didn’t sooner want to rp with them: just the fact that i’m writing up the millionth starter is a definite yes from me. ship their character with mine: no <3 jkjk marty and levi are the SOFTEST and even tho their dynamic is so uncomplicated ( at least in relation to regular tumblr brand ships oop— ) i can’t get enough of it .... also i love that it’s not angst-free but it’s the normal non-consequential teen angst of finding your way and longing for something you can’t even picture. plus the fact that they’re both so dramatic makes it just so supremely entertaining and light to write and i... need that tbh. otHERWISE um i’m open for anything! i have a LOT of muses and always willing to add more babey! and once u join the prophecies multi brand...... we could be unstoppable .........

overall opinion: i have rambled sm already but overall tara is SUCH an amazing person and writer and i’m SO lucky we talk.... thank u sm..... my stay on this blog wouldn’t be the same without her

          kavinsky’s wearing his sunglasses despite it being night, and he has his arm around the shoulder of his ‘ girlfriend, ’ which he’s just dragging along with him like a crutch or like an instant-audience to whatever bullshit he’s pulling next. she doesn’t seem particularly comfortable, but kavinsky’s not someone next to whom anyone should feel comfortable on, and anyway he doesn’t care. literally, greeting this as-good-as-stranger, fellow raven boy bruce wayne, is infinitely more interesting than this girl. k’s not sure he even remembers her name, and he doesn’t care. she’s a fun accessory for the night. his other hand is wrapped around the neck of a fifty-dollar-bottle of vodka. most of that liter’s already gone, but k’s grin betrays nothing. he raises it at wayne like a toast, and then he makes a sweeping gesture at the rest of the field like he’s inviting him to his place. dozens of aglionby boys of the worst kind are gathered around their expensive cars that are parked in a messy circle as if they’re trying to make themselves comfortable but couldn’t bother to sit on the ground so they just brought their entire fucking car to sit on. they’re all drinking and smoking and swallowing and huffing themselves unconscious, and that’s all there is to the party. it’ll probably get interesting later, or they’ll just fucking pass out and be dragged to their cars by the last men standing. there’s a few barrel fires and someone turned their enhanced car stereo to full volume to let obnoxiously lowpitched beats accompany the scene.

          “ welcome, welcome, make yourself right at home! i trust you got your stuff? ” with that last part k lets go of the girl and stretches out a hand towards wayne, palm upward. give. it may be phrased as a question, but it’s not, this is his fucking entry ticket. whatever it is will probably go into k’s jeans pocket, and then be taken in lines tomorrow before class, if he even remembers it. tonight’s a night for more dangerous things.

                    any answer i give will just put me into the dog house, but dron has been a standing ship i’ve liked for a bit longer so it feels natural to go with that one.  it’s ... hard, though, because though there are many ways that both ron and ginny are similar in more than just looks ( i have a feeling draco has taken a bit from snape after all, loving a girl with fire hair and a spirit that could burn if he’s not careful. ) but personality, ron and draco have more of an equal standing - it makes more sense for the two of them rather than he and ginny.   as i said, i’ll probably get yelled at by either mo or reagan for this - but we’d have to choose ron.

                     do you remember? when we were eleven.   let’s go back to that.   

a mantra that plays in his head, echoing against the hallows of his brain.  it’s behind every insult his slick tongue tosses at harry, any time he’s got his forearm pressed against harry’s clavicle as he pins him to a wall.  any time his eyes search for him across the great hall even the moment harry glances his way, he’ll divert his gaze.  loving a boy who flies too close to the sun is hard, blinded by the very light he emits himself.  

                       i’ll toss remembralls into the sky and you can try to catch them.  

if draco could take it all back, he would, without a doubt, go back and befriend harry on the first day.  he’d take back all the rude and selfish things he has done, how he dragged his friends to the ground - maybe, if they were friends first, it wouldn’t have taken him so long to see the wrong in the world.  that he and harry could have had a better life, together.  ( and i mean, how sassy would those two be running the halls together, getting into trouble but always having each other’s back instead of being the one they looked over their shoulders for.)  

                        leaving is easy.   coming home is hard.   

like fate, draco thinks, they were always meant to be.  but he’ll trade it all in to go back to when they were eleven.  back to when they were kids.  back to when they could all grow again.
