continued from here / @lightgave

he  would  love  to  smother him.  the  affection  he  held  for  roxas  was  off  the  charts  and  it  had  been  since  he  met  him  for  the  first  time.  that  was  why  he  decided  not  to  tell  him  what  he  knew,  for  he  didn't  want  to  hurt  him  and  he  didn't  want  him  to  leave  the  organisation.  he  believed  in  attaining  a  heart  and  living  a  normal  life  again...  he  was  dead  set  on  making  it  work,  but  realised  along  the  way  that  he  lost  when  roxas  was  gone  wasn't  worth  the  effort  anymore.  nothing  of  the  organisation  was  true  anyway.  he  had  only  been  used.  just  like  how  they  used  roxas  and  he  let  them  do  just  that.

"you  deserve  to  be  smothered,  oh  mighty  warrior."  a  hand  reached  over  to  ruffle  his  hair,  these  unruly  blond  ones  that  stuck  out  to  one  side  only.  quite  adorable,  really.  "that's  why  you  have  to  experience  cheese  ice  cream.  sounds  fantastic,  doesn't  it?"  and  he  threw  an  arm  around  the  smaller  male,  guiding  him  towards  the  stall  selling  the  probably  weirdest  ice  cream  flavors  he  had  ever  come  across.  "they're  only  here  for  two  more  days,  street  food  festival.  we  could  try  all  the  yummy  stuff."

he  looked  over  at  the  other  boy.  he  was  twinkling  with  excitement.  axel  had  to  run  a  hand  through  his  hair,  willing  the  red  shade  away  from  his  face.

that’s how he greets skywalker after years of silence. boba sits down on a rocky formation and doesn’t even tilt his helmet to look at him directly. the plates of his armor rustle, sounding like dried out scales. he still doesn’t look at skywalker, he just stares at the endless sea before him. if only it rained, he thinks. then it would really feel like home. 

❛ so, you’re still alive. ❜ he answers his own question and follows the tradition of his people at the same time ( this is the only way a warrior can greet another warrior, his people know ). the hunter finally cants his head to the side, t-shaped visor anchors itself to skywalker. there has been too much silence already, too much of it to keep letting it swell. but boba has never had enough words to spare. he stays quiet.

❛ Not like him? ❜ an eyebrow quirked, as though Luke was merely telling a pitiful joke. The family resemblance had been clear since he was only a young boy; almost frighteningly so. Watching over Luke from a distance Ben had wondered time and time again whether it was a mirage, or whether he truly saw his old Padawan standing before him.

Perhaps his mind was failing due to gaining years and harsh climate, let one thing which had never faded was his belief in the youngling. Luke would save them all; he was sure of it.

✰* —  sora's always been a bit of a romantic , though he's not one to just admit that to anyone . with @lightgave , though , well ... kaito knows him well enough at this point . has known him well enough for a long time , to know this is right up his alley .

( it's not much of a secret - sora likes to pretend no one knows he's a big lovey dovey mushy type , but ... c'mon ... he's no actor . )

the mistletoe above their heads sways slightly between them , like it's not aware of its own meaning . it's not , sora's brain helpfully supplies , because it's a plant . of some sort . his cheeks are flushed an embarrassing shade of red , obvious even against tanned skin from long days in the sun .

' well , would'ya look at that ... ' he laughs a little , looking up at kaito with a sheepish little smile . ' i dunno if you know this , but the rule of the mistletoe is that you can't walk away until you kiss the other person . ' is that a rule ? hell if he knows . ' but , i mean ... i don't mind just hanging out with you forever , either . '
