Back to the grind...
Speaking of the fanwork project, I ended up letting myself purchase an old book notebook cover on amazon to hide my silly looking livescribe paper. It lends a more ‘important’ and intellectually relevant look to the project, and makes it something that I’m excited to be a part of. Which isn’t much but the little things do matter to me. It matches my class notebook too, so I can look important and intellectual wandering the halls of my university with an armful of books. I’m really tempted to give off the intellectual image to convince myself and others that I should go to grad school. I’d really kind of like to, but I don’t feel ...worthy, I guess.
In any case, since I cracked my head open yesterday, I get to be excited about stupid nonsense. My birthday presents came yesterday. It was a week after my birthday, but it was nice. Fiance got me a pin and two homestuck shirts.
I’ve always had a fondness for light- because of Serkets, mostly- but once this came I had to wear it right away.
Not the most detailed shot- had trouble getting the camera to focus, but you get the point. It is now my uniform for our collaborative project.
The device in question. ...I’m still mad at it.
Much better.
okay but have you considered my parents’s cat?
Spent 3 hours over there with this guy on my lap when I should have been studying. What can I say, he’s adorable. Sad thing is it’s the only ‘fun’ thing I’ve done in days...
