I got a very cute glass cup (it has a wood lid and an embossed thistle plant on it) but the problem is it came with a glass straw and to keep them from clinking together and chipping each other they put a silicone tip on the straw. This is a good idea, except that silicone is really good at creating suction-based seals. So sometimes when you're drinking from the straw it partially suctions itself to the bottom of the cup and doesn't work very well. I feel like someone should have tested, you know, drinking out of the cup before the design was approved. It's Pioneer Woman brand as well, not just a random walmart brand, so I kind of expected it to have some kind of quality control. I'm willing to look past the flaws and continue using it though because I like how it looks.
