hmm. Like i get keeping some features different or only available for patrons and shit. But on a site that’s basically compiling a lot of people’s creative world building work, as well as characters, settings, everything basically.

Guess who has two term papers, two memos, a take home exam, a food project, and three exams in the next five days but has to spend all night tonight teaching their classmates the course they were personally least worried about because the professor didn't teach the course at fucking all this term?

So, I was as teaching assintant on one class in the university. The dinamic of the class was based on participation, the teacher do a question; we, the two assintant could add a comentary and the college students of LAST YEAR would participate as they want.

They were like 30 students, at least 20 females. But an all the first hour of class only three males had taking the turn to talk, like a lot. So, of course I call out the facts, also because over all be were talking about postcolonialist and how the social and historic constructions control us and how all our actions are political.

But aparentely I'm a crazy and rude woman, because we need to stop to see the world on binary and the 20 something women who were on silent, there were like that for their individual personality not because some kind of cultural opresion and the male who were talking were deconstucted and don't saw theirselves as general male but as "new" male.

Like what? No people nop.

The women had interiorized that we need to do great commentary and pay attention even when the class is based on participation. This is cultural opresion, and if you are a college student of last year who is reading a lot about culture and politic and feminist theory I will call your behavior as it is.

And if you are a "new" male, it is not only dress like a hipster or read feminist theory or be sexually flexible, it is also recognize that your still monopolizing the voice. It is recogize that your opinion is been listenig even when is a bland comentary, you even could admit that you didn't read the homework papers. It is overall had a little of empaty and encourage your women classmate to take the word. It is just shut up for a minute and let others talk.
