alec lightwood’s eyes being blue is not a vital part of his character nor are they a huge plot point and they really don’t move the story forward in any way so i genuinely don’t understand why people who write fic for the SHOW/that follow show canon insist on writing him with blue eyes when in show canon they’re Not. especially if the description of alec follows what matt daddario looks like /except/ for the eye colour. there is absolutely no need for that change im annoyed and tiredt of this
it's not that I don't trust Emily Andras to write queer characters it's that I watched Lost Girl and couldn't get past season two and I don't trust her with /plot/
