You know this is an insane idea that's probably inadvisable...but what if I make an organization with an associated escrow account and then simply give everyone involved equal ownership. Make the information for the account openly available. It can't be used for anything other than the movie or it's in breach of contract and can be legally pursued anyways. This means if some rando from tumblr decided to try to run off with the money they'd get their pants sued off them in addition to potentially facing criminal fraud charges :)
I can probably find a better alternative, but I'm genuinely considering this. If any of you have ideas, feel free to share! ^-^
