Does this mean anything? I'm not sure. Did The Boss passed to the GRU because of The Sorrow's death? Or was it like the last straw?

Another day another game

Yep, today I played as well :D I finally got home!

I would love to do other podcasts, but my family got home and I don't want to catch fucking Mickey Mouse cartoon in my "podcast".

ANYHOW:

Didn't progress too much with the story, because there were TOO LONG things to do!

I got inside the lab after three attempts, then the fucking nightmare started.

I am not exaggerating when I say my mind did slide into pure insanity in the attempt to find fucking Sokolov.

I was **VERY** close to do a fucking carnage.

Actually, I DID a carnage and couldn't use my CQC gun anymore (the one with the knife too). I have no fucking regrets.

I didn't understand how to pass the small portion between the exit of the cave and the cutscene with Sokolov. I just got caught and runned away while getting shot and bombarded :3

I cheated- I watched a gamethrough to know how tf pass that part with EVA where Ocelot & The Gang™ are searching for you... I killed everyone. With a knife. Because I forgot EVA gave me an actual gun and not a tranquilizer gun.

Genuinely HOW THE FUCK did Ocelot became "Major", what??? He's so fucking dUMB-!? Also, SNAKE: "let him go, EVA, he's young" SIR, YOU MENTOR CALLS YOU A CHILD, LITERALLY SHUT UP????

Also also, how the f didn't he notice that EVA was a woman? Did he REALLY had to touch her boobs??? Is Ocelot fucking blind????? And that's the second time he assumes the other person is a man (like when he thought Snake was "The Boss").

EVA hitting Ocelot's face with a fucking motorcycle. That's all. This is the "woman beating your ass up" game and I'm so down for it.

I did shot 5 times at a crocodile before realizing I could've just... Move around it pacifically (I didn't kill it).

SNAKE HAD A FUCKING LEECH ON HIS VAGINA (shut the fuck up he's trans).

EVA has an interesting backstory, but it highlights more how Snake doesn't know why he's doing what he's doing outside of "I guess I have to, even if they're lying to me."

This is about the first time i played: I have 2 theories for The Boss' behavior towards Snake:

She says Snake has to choose to either follow his country or her, but she doesn't really give him the TIME to choose. She keeps pushing to convince him (through violence) to just go home. I think she doesn't want him to choose either of those, or, at most, she doesn't want him to follow her. It's a bit like a mom who wants to push her child to be independent (I think that's fitting for them).

She's testing him, she keeps attacking him so he can mature and make up his mind and prove himself to her, either as her enemy or an official member of the COBRAs.

So, the COBRAs are The Boss' "children", right? She trained them and I guess they see her as a mother figure just like Snake does. I think Big Boss learned that's the most effective way to ensure loyalty, and that's why, when creating Outer Heaven, he grooms children into seeing him as a savior and a bit like a father figure too. I think Boss took the mom role out of genuine care, while Big Boss did it for convenience.

→ Except for Gray Fox. I literally DO NOT FUCKING CARE WHAT EVERYONE OR THE CHARACTERS SAY!! Big Boss cared for Gray Fox!!! And Gray Fox saw him as a mentor/father figure too!!! The fact that they don't recognize it on a conscious level is a whole other pack to deal with
