I’m obsessed with this song and it makes me think of my favorite little subgenre of Lacho fics, which is Lacho ghost stories 🖤 And the idea of these two being connected by Fate or something mystical that defies rational explanation 🖤
So in honor of spooky season beginning, here are some of my favorite spooky Lacho Gothic romances which this song reminds me of 🖤🖤
1. @el-michoacano’s incredible story has become completely intertwined with this song, to me. In my head, this is like this story’s theme song. A gorgeous Gothic romance wherein Nacho’s ghost rides shotgun with Lalo through the end of his journey, both literally and figuratively

2. A beautiful story of haunting, timeloops, and the mysterious pull of Fate connecting Nacho and Lalo

3. Lalo and Nacho meet again in the afterlife and try to work through how to forgive each other and themselves

4. Not as directly ghostly, but a beautifully written tale by @seraphtrevs with Bluebeard motifs and the theme of Fate or Destiny connecting Lalo & Nacho. And some killer thrills and chills!

Happy Spooky Season! 🖤💀👻

Te juro corazón
Que no es falta de amor
Pero es mejor así..
Un día comprenderás
Que lo hice por tu bien
Que todo fue por ti..
