11 weeks.

It has been 11 weeks. it has been 11 weeks since my daughter Lili grace was born! WOW has my whole entire world changed. I want to start off by properly introducing myself, Hello! I am Amanda Watkins! I have a beautiful new family, My husband Raymond ( who goes by a few different names Raymond, Jimmy, Lover, and Peter, All of which of perfectly relevant to his life.) and our daughter Lili grace. My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary of marriage! WOO HOO! and we are about to celebrate two years of pure perfection together. I can truly say that I am living in abundance and I never want it to stop! 

 Okay enough with the "formal introduction" I just figured we should get to know each other, that’s all <3 Anyways, I have felt so blessed in the last 11 weeks. I have been giving thanks lately for the abundance that has been shown in my life! Everything from getting the perfect donation, to more beautiful gifts for my daughter I would have to say The Watkins Clan is doing excellent. We’re even feeling rested, somewhat. Tomorrow is my first day back to work since August, it will be a short shift only about 3 hours I will miss the baby so much and Jimmy has to work tomorrow around the same time so she will be with her Nanna. I’m ready to get off work already. <3

  My beautiful daughter Lili grace, she was born on August 12, 2013 at 0630am she was 2lbs 6oz, 15 ½ inches long. She was born at the gestational age of 32 weeks, being the size of a 26 weeker. She is my miracle. She was born breathing our own air with absolutely no oxygen or anything wrong with her, she was just small and had to gain weight. 39 days, that’s how many days it took for my to have my baby in my arms all I wanted, on her terms alone. She has been home for 6 weeks now and in the course of her life has been thriving, and learning so much. There will be plenty of news on her so for now that is my Lili grace.

 We are currently in a preparation faze as new parents she is currently wearing newborn size clothes, and winter is approaching, so there is the planning of outfits and weather (planning), the organization (nesting) my husband said tonight. “ you’re doing a good job nesting in” I am feeling proud of our home! I am researching homemade baby foods I just got the baby bullet! I am pumped! and our next feet will be the 4 month check ups , we have decided that some of her vaccines will be delayed and some she will receive due to her tremendous fight already, on time. December, that’s the 4 month marker, I am excited to see how she will be by then! She is already starting to find her voice, smile, and follow us with ease! She is even sometimes responding to her name! its exciting!

 Well as night falls the baby is sound asleep, the house is clean, the husband and I are watching Mulan, ( can’t wait to share with Lg!) A favourite of ours! And I am looking forward to a nap after work already. I am planning on writing down notes and thoughts of the weeks and compiling them into a weekly blog for anyone to relate, come up with topics and the challenges that are faced as a married, new young mum of a little girl! Working, nursing, loving, and barley getting in a shower, I am here and I am excited to share with you! Thank you all and I look forward to getting to know you all <3
