If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?
As Willow doesn't really know her father she'd have nothing good to say to him other than rebukes to why he left her and her mother.
But her last words to her mother would be something along the lines of: "I missed you for more than half my life and yet you're the reason I made it so far and the reason ill continue to be strong, know my success is came from how wonderful you are"
Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?
In her early warden years she isnt thrilled by the idea of dying but she doesn't realise quite how terrifying it is until she confronted with it.
Near misses on quests were worrying at most but when she was confronted with the reality of how wardens defeat the archdemon and in her actual fight with the demon she was fear stricken. She didn't want to die, she wanted to live and to thrive and that fear did help become stronger.
When she's older however and the realisation that both the blood magic corruption and taint were slowly killing her were very low times for her. She never spoke about it to anyone but Damien but she knew she would die soon into her mid 30's if not before and the only way she came to terms with it was at the bottom of a bottle.
She tries not to regret anything, she stands firm to the belief that everything she's done has been done for the good of either Fereldan or the grey wardens, sometimes mutually beneficial. But there are some things she refuses to speak of even to Damien that she punishes herself over for many years after like the burning of Amaranthine.
