Visited Lillie’s Victorian Establishment (their Times Square location) to try their high tea set. For the high tea, you get scones, and choices for two savories and two desserts, but can also opt for add-ones. In this case I was more interested in trying all their desserts, and added two more as an add-on.
For the savories, i selected the egg salad (with alfalfa sprouts on country white) and the smoked salmon (with herbed goat cheese on pumpernickel), got a selection of three triangle-shaped scones (that was a new one!), and for the desserts, I got the lemon meringue tartelette, the strawberry sherry trifle (with fresh fruit, vanilla custard and sweet cream), the earl grey creme brulee, and two macarons. Among everything, the dessert tier was probably my most favorite.
