Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
In the animal kingdom, smaller doesn't necessarily mean simpler! The two species of Limnognathia that make up the phylum Micrognathozoa ("small-jawed animal") have incredibly complex jaws with up to 15 interconnected parts, which are capable of extending outside their body to catch prey and regurgitate undigestable items. That's pretty impressive considering both species are only around 100 micrometers in length!
